Star Trek Halloween episodes?

With Halloween coming up, its time for a Star Trek video night with some creepy episodes. What episodes work best for such an event?

TNG's "Genesis" comes to mind. Any other suggestions?

The original series: The one where Scotty is taken over by a non corporeal life form called Redjac. And this life form was responsible for the Jack the Ripper murders in the 1800's and has somehow made it to the 23rd century on a planet light years from earth. I can't recall the title though.

TOS: Catspaw originally aired the week of Halloween.

Wolf in the Fold

Another VOY one is "Revulsion", with Leland Orser a standout as a holographic Norman Bates. The B plot has Seven telling Harry to take his clothes off.

Also "Schisms" in TNG. Various crew abducted into another dimension where click-clacking clawed aliens perform weird medical experiments.

I had a look at some episodes:

“Night Terrors” (TNG)
“Frame of Mind” (TNG)
“Empok Nor” (DS9)
“The Thaw” (VOY)
“Darkling” (VOY)
“The Haunting of Deck Twelve” (VOY)

"Catspaw," as noted, was always intended to be a Halloween episode.

And written by the author of PSYCHO no less.

I've seen a lot of great candidates mentioned above.

There's also TNG's conspiracy, though some consider it too cheesy or gross (due to the exploding body of Remnik).
I think phantasms (TNG) also has a nice creepy atmosphere.

And we have voy's Coda which I consider quite creepy. If not by execution, then at least by premise ('suppose near death experiences are caused by ...')

Anyone who thinks that "Conspiracy" is too gross has clearly not seen enough horror movies and should probably avoid TV altogether on Halloween. :)

ENT's "Impulse" comes the closest to actually being scary. "Catspaw" from TOS is a fun Halloween episode. I would also submit DS9's "Empok Nor" as being fairly haunted-housey.

I think so too, but I've seen people complain about it on trek BBS before. The only effect that scene has on me is that I have to laugh because it's so ridiculously overblown. (And I even generally dislike horror! )

Yeah, I've seen that too, and it always makes scratch my head. Have people not seen Alien or The Thing or Scanners or any number of sci-fi horror flicks?

Forgot all about that one and had to look it up. Ah... Vulcan Zombies, you've got to love them

Speaking of zombies, some scenes of First Contact (movie) would fit in nicely too -especially those where Borg look menacingly in our direction- (though not the entire movie, and of course it wouldn't qualify as an episode )
