OK, let's knock this one down a bit though it may not come across as actual substantive assistance. It seemed to me that most participants would think it unlikely that a female would be prone to have much reason to utter this phrase in this way. Such a conclusion is right thinking.
More help to follow if needed, but I think a reasonable process of elimination of plausible male candidates will rapidly whittle down the list of suspects.

I don't want to kill another thread, especially one that I find so entertaining.
All right, I've said that the character uttering this quote (well word) is male. Despite my thinking that knowing that along with the question mark at the end of the remark, would help intuit the identity of the character and pretty quickly afterwards the provenance of the quote, here's a further hint. This person is someone clearly very comfortable with the opposite sex or quite the opposite. This should eliminate many many candidates and allow the thinking caps to not have to be so tightly and uncomfortably affixed.
Please please someone come through with the winner here. Honestly, I did not think that this offering would turn out to be so willfully obscurantist, especially given the exclamatory way that it's presented.
