Name That Trek

Spock- The Immunity Syndrome

"You'll win in five moves"

Barclay, The Nth Degree, TNG.

This could become a new game; Name that Trek PIC!

Feel free to post pics, draderman! Good one, btw!

Embiggened clue: They're not as ugly as the old ones, but they're pretty bad.
I didn't realize this was a quote. :)

"Please make her quiet!" Three characters on screen, one of whom is Janeway.
(I would have guessed VOY Alliances for this one).

Next clue:

A massive creature swims above them.
:p

This one is stumping me. Is it a direct quote?

"You'll win in five moves"

Travis talking to Reed in Ent's 4th season ep Observer effect.

New Clue - "It's been accessed 47 times by 33 different crew members."

Not a quote, but a scene direction lifted verbatim from the ahem, teleplay. Hint:

We've got a visitor.
(A massive creature swims above them.)
What was it?
You're the one who lives here. You tell us.
No one's ever been this far down before. We don't know anything about marine life at these depths.
You are about to have the opportunity to make a detailed study.

I think I know your clue but as I guessed wrong last time, I'll put myself in the penalty box for this one. Is it ok to cry? :(

Conversation amongst multiple crew and Riga in Voyager-30 Days.

Next: This might be too generic so I may have to elaborate, but here goes.

"We were too late Jim, there's nothing could be done".

The latter. ;)

Turnabout Intruder.

New cloo: Veronica's boyfriend may be hard of hearing.

I hereby submit a ludicrously incorrect answer which doesn't even make sense in context. Who is Tom Paris.

No, but points for the Jeopardy style question. ;)

Slightly embiggened clue: Veronica Sawyer's boyfriend is asked if he has hearing problems. (Mister.)

STVI:TUC.

Next clue:

"I have a tongue."
"Good. You will be taught how to use it."

Kor

Apparently your favorite Klingon talking to Kirk in Errand of Mercy.

Oops, almost forgot to keep the train moving!!

"Look just let us go home. We won't tell anybody".

The hell we won't! lol
One of the 37`s from Voyagers 37`s

New clue - This is a direct quote from an episode:

Jack: "Ill know Sharon. Hes my brother. How can I face him knowing that our son, is his son?"
Sharon: "All you need to know Jack is that I love you."

Just a quick note, draderman's last clue went unanswered; anyone can feel free to take a guess of that one, too:

New Clue - "It's been accessed 47 times by 33 different crew members."

Friendly Reminder to All Players:
Reference any Trek series episode or film up to Nemesis.

For clues: give quotes, actions, screenshots, descriptions, or other.

If it's not readily apparent, please let us know what kind of clue it is. (It may not be as apparent as you think).

Try to keep clues limited to in-universe "lore". If you must reference something or someone not directly from inside a Trek story, please explicitly say so.

IE, it's better to reference stories directly than relying on Trivia, or IMDB stuff.

Welcome any and all players. If people are stumped, feel free to provide a new clue at any time.

Voyager Worst Case Scenario

My clue, direct quote:
"A fat Ferengi has just entered the establishment."

TNG- Unification Part II Worf reporting in to Enterprise

This one might seem absurdly brief, but putting a little time in will help leaven the possibilities of who would make such an utterance. Following that oblique "clue", here we go.

"Females"?

OK, let's knock this one down a bit though it may not come across as actual substantive assistance. It seemed to me that most participants would think it unlikely that a female would be prone to have much reason to utter this phrase in this way. Such a conclusion is right thinking.

More help to follow if needed, but I think a reasonable process of elimination of plausible male candidates will rapidly whittle down the list of suspects.:techman:

I don't want to kill another thread, especially one that I find so entertaining.

All right, I've said that the character uttering this quote (well word) is male. Despite my thinking that knowing that along with the question mark at the end of the remark, would help intuit the identity of the character and pretty quickly afterwards the provenance of the quote, here's a further hint. This person is someone clearly very comfortable with the opposite sex or quite the opposite. This should eliminate many many candidates and allow the thinking caps to not have to be so tightly and uncomfortably affixed.

Please please someone come through with the winner here. Honestly, I did not think that this offering would turn out to be so willfully obscurantist, especially given the exclamatory way that it's presented.

Any more hints?
