Another good episode, not quite as good as part 1 but a good start to the series.

It did really bug me that Dalek Clara never said "Run you clever boy, run."

I hope Missy is back later this season.

"And remember."

I think it's probably because the Doctor's appearance at present, doesn't resemble a boy. But it still would have been a nice nod to Oswin:)

I think the reason no other reference was made to "Asylum Of
The Daleks" was because viewers would be expecting more and honestly, the whole impossible girl thing is done and over with.

I get that, but as everything she was saying was coming out wrong I would have thought she would have been able to get those words out and let him know.

It's a very small niggle, I still really enjoyed it.

I didn't know where to put this but

Doctor Who Official ‏@bbcdoctorwho 1h1 hour ago

Time frame for MASSIVE #DoctorWho news: hours, not days.
And it’s much bigger news than some people are guessing…

What could it be?

Moffat leaving
Capaldi leaving
New companion
Missing episodes found.
Specials?

Would they announce that a massive announcement was coming for A Producer or Doctor actor leaving, or a new Companion coming? That's pretty standard news, that wouldn't need to be teased, no?

Well, if it was Moffat leaving, wouldn't that be considered big news? He is the show's consistent creative element for the last six years or so (second to Murray Gold, naturally).

Sure, big news, but, SOP and it would be tasteless, IMHO to announce a coming announcement and to call it MASSIVE

Indeed. And I imagine they would not hype it up at all.

A spinoff, called Class, set at Coal Hill.

Perhaps that means Jenna moving to Class and a new companion for Doctor Who.

Well, Clara is definitely more interested in Coal Hill than in traveling with the Doctor. I guess Jenna doesn't share her perspective.

I'm just waiting for the Doctor to bring Clara back after a massive natural disaster of terrorist attack has wound down, and she's all, "You knew this was coming and chose that I should skip it!"

I only just saw this episode and thought it was pretty good. It actually flowed logically and didn't feel rushed like part one. My only massive complaint is the Doctor giving his regeneration energy to Davros and TELLING HIM THE TIME LORDS ARE ALIVE. He just re-started the frickin' Time War!!! The Daleks know they're back!!! It was all for nothing!!!

The Daleks knew they were back anyway, that was the point to Time of the Doctor.

Different factions of Daleks?

The ones over Trenzalore were most likely the paradigm/pure Daleks. The ones on Skaro were the Davros infused ones.

Which just brings me back to my point of the Doctor betraying their existence to his greatest enemy and re-starting the reality destroying Time War all over again ;)

But you're right, I forgot about the Daleks being in "Time of the Doctor". But wasn't that back when they were afraid of the threat of Gallifrey returning versus knowing it's actually out there?

If they already knew, then why did Davros react with shock at hearing of it?

Some thoughts:

-Just because the Daleks knew doesn't mean Davros did. They don't actually report to him.

-Maybe he did know and was feigning surprise?

But wasn't that back when they were afraid of the threat of Gallifrey returning versus knowing it's actually out there?

Same thing, isn't it? It can't return unless it is out there. The threat of Gallifrey returning proves its existence.

There were no New Paradigm Daleks in Time of the Doctor.
