Thanks.Nostromo is looking Diesel!
Oh, hell yeah! Very nice! I'm looking at this from a cell phone right now, and I really like it. Well done!
On the starboard side (second image) , is that just shadows, or did you actually apply a bit of a weathering effect to the ship?
Amazing stuff.
Very nice!Thanks guys.

I actually did quite a bit of weathering / streaking on it, to make it look pretty dirty. I figured it would have to be, after hauling an oil refinery around.![]()

2 of the next ones up, are the Human fighter from "Enemy Mine", and the round moon shuttle from 2001. Should be fun!

Still tweaking this new printer... it looks like the extruders are also reporting the incorrect temperature. I tried the at 230c (the default), 240c, 250c, and finally 260c. Looking at the results, 260c is what I'll be using from now on.
Oh man that came out beautiful. Need some Ori and if yer daring the replicator ship![]()

Technically, it's more likely the thermocouples are reporting the right temp but are not in a position to report true nozzle temp. This is a big problem with printers and sharing temp data on filament. My R2 TC is smack on the extruder near the nozzle and I use 235 (but can drop to 232). Same filament my buddy uses and he needs 238 minimum. TC are usually pretty good, so placement is likely the culprit
Are you using PLA or ABS? If you are using PLA, have you found a good glue? Best one for me is locktite GO2 GEL but I am always looking for others. I like PLA - but it has some cons.
EDIT - Awesome work BTW![]()
