Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

Yeah, most of the stuff I've seen is just him working out, and the kind of stuff most social media active actors do to promote their shows. Most of it I've enjoyed. That's why I was confused by somebody being so bothered by him.

The Green Lantern film is 5 years away, so maybe that'd be allowed to use the character before that hits? I certainly hope so, but it's probably just an easter egg.

^But Justice League, Part One is only 2 years away, and Green Lantern (in the person of John Stewart) is rumored to be in that.

I think the "poster" is just an in-joke.

We could always get test pilot Hal Jordan but not Green Lantern or we could stop in at Ferris Air.

The movies and the tv are separate and distinct continuities.

You'll notice this how the Flash is being played by someone else in the JLA movie.

Yeah, but they do seem to be trying to avoid using a lot of the same things they know the movies are going to use. I believe they said that Arrow won't be using anymore new Batman characters.

Yes, they said that, but as I remember it, it's because of FOX's "Gotham".

How's Felicity going to get to see Ollie working out on the Salmon ladder if she's stuck in some cubical off to the side????? ;)

Didn't you look at the concept art? She's not in a cubicle, she's got a raised circular railed platform with line of sight to every other part of the bunker. She's basically got her own starship bridge.

Do I look smart enough to scroll down to the BOTTOM of the page?

:alienblush: :alienblush: :alienblush:

Thanks for pointing that out.

Now that I have scrolled down, I agree it looks really cool except for 1 thing.

Where's that darned ladder? :guffaw:

That's right, I think I do remember them saying that now. Although I believe the Suicide Squad movie is possibly the reason why we're not getting Harley Quinn on Arrow.

The salmon ladder is on the opposite wall where this "picture" was taken, obviously. Such that Ollie can whip up and down a few times while everyone is conferencing at the table.

Also I just noticed that this new lair is above ground - windows are visible on the left, and that green glass feature seems to extend further up. I'm guessing this is NOT the backup lair we saw at the end of the second season, then.

In terms off poster design, they probably could have. :P

Still, the stark lighting choice gives us a great look at the new outfit. Dunno who his original tailor was when he got off the island, but he's decidedly more... Armored? Padded? Cinematic? Now...

I actually dig the old suit better, this one edges too close to the Smallville suit.

That's because they both were inspired by the Neal Adams design:

With the hood taken from the Mike Grell design.

The devil is in the details. Yes, they're both inspired by the comics suits, but that doesn't change my opinion of the Smallville suit.
