I just read in "In History's Shadow" by Dayton Ward. If you like the EW books, you should definitely read that one, too.

You mean From History's Shadow? I've already read it. It was great. I should try to convince Cross Cult to pick this one as next TOS novel to be translated........
Looking forward to reading Elusive Salvation, the follow-up. There is already a thread, but not a professional one with poll, as it is still too early. I think ES is due in April next year, featuring Roberta Lincoln and Gary Seven.....

I finished Star Trek: New Frontier: The Returned, Part 1 by Peter David.

I'm now reading the second in the Derrick Storm e-trilogy, A Raging Storm, by "Richard Castle".

I just recently finished the Twist of Faith omnibus of the first five DS9 relaunch stories (Avatar books 1 and 2, Abyss, Demons of Air and Darkness and the novella "Horn and Ivory").

I love the DS9 relaunch so far – it really feels like a natural extension of the TV show to me, and I like the new characters like Shar and Vaughn. I've ordered the four Mission Gamma books, Rising Son and Unity on Amazon – they should be arriving some time next month.

I read through the prologue, and it says that some of the story he's telling Reyes is hearsay and guesswork. Does that mean that what happens in the body of the book might not be 100% accurate to what really happened in universe?

The thing about the prologue is that it's Pennington's recollection of events; the main part of the story takes place almost two years earlier, so it's possible Pennington's memory just isn't that great.

Plus I don't think the main narrative is meant to be literally Pennington's telling of events to Reyes, it's just a framing device to lead into the story. There's no signs of unreliable narration in the events themselves, for what it's worth.

And as Pennington is depicted as a participant in those events, it's unlikely he was telling a story about himself in third person; furthermore, it's unlikely he'd have known every detail of what transpired aboard the Sagittarius or the Endeavour, and he certainly wouldn't have know what it felt like to be

I started Star wars Crucible By Troy Denning.I hope this book is better than a previous Star wars by I read by this author a few weeks ago the book was dull and extremely boring story.

I clicked it out of instinct, but managed to close it before I saw anything. I do know about the general fate of the station, but not the who/how/why/when. I've actually managed to stay fairly spoiler free about SH, or if I did read spoilers I've forgotten them.
