Trek's lowest moment

I found Trek's lowest moment:

So low she's below floor level. ;-)

She was looking for the lingerie department.

That was a pretty solid effect for early-90's TV.

Three words:

Quark in drag.
The true winner. I still vividly remember my father walking into the room when that one was on, looking at the screen for 30 seconds, and remarking in disgust, "What the hell are you watching?" Star Trek can be cheesy and campy, but that was the only episode I've ever felt ashamed to be caught watching.

I know some people hate the Ferengi episodes, but I thought the Ferengi cast, led by Shimerman of course, was so good that even the weaker stories were in practice very entertaining.

The majority of episodes didn't have a shot like that, nor did the majority of the movies.

The shot? I'm talking about wardrobe. Theiss Titillation Theory, catsuits and other impractical costumes designed mostly for female characters.

You trying to tell me that Seven of Nine didn't need the skin tight cat suit and six inch heels?!?

It's funny how short Trek fans memories truly are.

No, but T'Pol did!!! Because that was different!

It was only...say it with me...logical :vulcan:
Theiss attitude was an interesting one, in my opinion. He even coined the term that Nerys Myk notes and defines it as such: "the degree to which a costume is considered sexy is directly dependent upon how accident-prone it appears to be."

Reading his Memory Alpha page is quite interesting.

It amuses me that some are offended by a moment like that. It's completely in character for Kirk.
