What name would assign a Star Fleet Shuttle?

The shuttles needed more non-earth names, and by more I mean 3/4 should have been non-earth.

I see your point. However, I think instead that Starfleet ships should be a solid mixture of names from all Federation worlds, but it's reasonable that all shuttles on a ship could follow the example of being named from the same world are the ship they serve.

Perhaps because Danube class runabouts are Starfleet ships and Bajor has not yet joined the Federation. Once they have, maybe they'll have their own class runabouts stationed there.

The runabouts assigned to DS9 don't need necessarily names of Bajoran rivers.
Provinces are fine as well:

Rakantha

Dahkur

Kendra

and so on.....
