Did anyone get a Windows 10 invite?

Not quite sure how they're doing it. Kathy had something like 5gb free, it downloaded the update, unpacked and installed and when it was finished she had 6gb.
Sounds like it does a good job of cleaning up after itself!
Also some icons have now changed for example the recycle bin. Still running Windows 7 but the icon is now the Win 10 version..
That's not the Windows 10 version of the icon. The one in Windows 10 looks more like the one in Windows 95.
I have reserved my Win10 upgrade but will wait a while before installing- Win7 still works great for me.
I am going to try and install Win10 as a Dual Boot so I can run either- I have a 3TB system so room is no problem. I have run Dual Boot systems before and I like having the option.

You can't do a dual-boot. It's an upgrade, not a sidegrade.
I guess you could upgrade to Win 10 and then still install Win 7 on another partition for a dual boot setup.

I like the icon, myself. Hell, I'd love to have some retro Windows icons on my desktop (though modified to handle the higher resolutions of modern monitors). That said, I wouldn't worry. We're still a few weeks out, and if there's enough feedback (and I'm sure there is), the icon will likely have changed.

Pretty you have always been able to change the icons, too--and will still be able to.
Can see video card drivers being a bit of issue with Windows 10. Both AMD and nVIDIA aren't releasing drivers for some of their older cards.
Though admittedly AMD was doing that from much earlier as I was reminded when googling about my Radaeon 4850 (they dropped support for it Windows 8 came out).
Sure you can get matching performace with the onboard video depending on the CPU but they had the benefit of being able to drive dual monitors - something that can get a bit fiddly with onboard video.

I have an ATi Radeon HD4670, and the beta ran flawlessly, including the games I installed to put it through its paces. Granted, things may be different upon release, but everything seemed ready to roll.
I am using my old GTX 550 ti still and have had no issues with games on Win 7 so hoping that won't change.
Just found a driver through Windows update (by-passing my Windows Software Update Server) for the Radeon so I might be able to plug it back in.
Yet if you go to the AMD website you'll find the Catalyst drivers supporting Windows 10 but they don't support the older cards and their autodetect software doesn't detect it either.
Drivers have always been a bane whether it's the lack of them or ones that crap your system out.

Nothing will be official until Windows 10 is released, at which point AMD will make their drivers available to everyone. Right now, everyone's using the beta drivers, which are sufficient.
In any case, nVidia supports their cards going back 5 years or so. If you're using a 5-year-old video card, it may be time to upgrade!
Hey I am still getting good frame rates on my games so why should I have to change.

Well, if it's too old to have a Windows 10 driver, and you want Windows 10, then it doesn't do everything you need anymore.
