I'm beginning to think that this actress is a big ole nerd at heart, with all these science fiction and superhero movies she's been in.

I also think she is a good looking woman.

And she has an alliterative name.

That is there are two characters, Zoe Querez and Qat Zaldana, who turn out in the end to be the same person. And a member of the Q Continuum.

she's such a beautiful and intelligent (and fun) woman.
I like her directness and authenticity.
I love her Uhura and so did Nichols:

Zoey is cool but I wish she put on more weight. she is very pretty but a bit too skinny for me.Nichelle Nichols had the body that fitted the character of Uhura better.

Just as a reminder:

When we had these "appreciation threads" before, we were too often running into a problem with inappropriate content.

Said inappropriate content often included photographs which were (at best) borderline with regards to the TrekBBS image-posting policy in place at the time. Our image rules have since become more restricted due to limits imposed last year by the company who serves our ads, so I really need everyone to click on that link, read, and make sure anything you post is in compliance. We DO NOT want to hear any complaints from that quarter.

Also problematic was the smutty commentary which was becoming increasingly prevalent in successive spin-off "appreciation" and "facts about" threads. Let's make an effort to avoid having that happen this time. If I see remarks heading toward locker room or gutter; if I see anything objectifying or demeaning Zoe Saldana personally or women generally (**waves at 2takesfrakes**); if I see it even beginning to turn into the kind of cesspool the "babe threads" became, then this thread will be done and there probably won't be another one. Ever.

Acting calm, verbally dismissing any excitement and wearing a T-shirt "Unfeeling as a Vulcan". They also always bring a football and tell jokes... "Why did humans lose the space battle? Last year the SyFy show Defiance had a storyline spread over a couple episodes about "alien cross dressers," people who dress up as a different species and hang out in a night club of other, like-minded individuals. I thought it was one of the more creative ideas on the show.
