Do You Prefer Day or Night?

I prefer night. It's cooler, fewer people out and about, and the Moon is in the sky.
And Jupiter is visible (at least when it's not cloudy). :)

Doing "stuff?" Like what? Buying a thesaurus?
Many things can be stuffed, such as pillows, turkeys and other food items, pin cushions and other stuffed craft items, envelopes, ballot boxes, etc.

"Stuff" is a catch-all word that many people use, even anthropologists when speaking informally on the meaning of the word "artifacts" ("it's their stuff!").

I'm a night owl, and so is my dad. For us it's always been normal to be more awake at night than during the day.

Well, that specific thing *has* to be done during the day, since all the thesaurus stores are closed at night.

(I should probably know another term for "thesaurus store", but sadly I don't have a thesaurus, because the thesaurus store was closed when I went there last night.)

To the OP, I'm going to have to echo the other posters who said that it depends on what "stuff". Although generally speaking, I am much more a night person than a morning person. (Says the person posting a jokey response on an online forum at 1:00am.)

I decided I'm going to go with "thesaurium".

If I were King of Thesaurus,
Not queen, not duke, not prince,
My regal robes of Thesaurus
would be satin, not cotton, not chintz.

I'm kind of a morning person, so there's a lot of stuff I do early. Most of my photo safaris happen in the morning. On the other hand, I do a lot of my writing and art during the day. And I prefer watching TV and movies at night when it's dark. So it really depends on what I'm doing. If I had to choose, I suppose it would be the night-- I love sitting outside in the Summer and watching the stars while the breeze gently ruffles the trees.

I've spent many happy hours at the Thesaurium. The one in my neighborhood is open till midnight and has a drive-thru.

Do they charge more for synonyms or antonyms? Or are those priced the same?

Is it just me or does it generally change with age? When I was a teenager I prefered working in the night. The older I got, the more my activities shifted towards the early morning and now I start work at 6 am and drop into bed as early as 8 pm.

I guess it could be an age thing. You're not the first person I've heard say their habits changed as they aged. For me personally, getting up early is just a 35 year old habit. My Grandpa got up every morning at 4:30am to be at our local railroad yard (where he worked) by 5:30am, and I used to get up in order to have breakfast with him. He's been dead since 1991, and I still get up at that time every day, wiether I have to or not (mostly not). It's just normal for me.

Early morning paper and coffee, outdoor lunches and brunches, outdoor early dinners, making love in the afternoon, dappled sun through the trees.

Simply. Excellent.

You really need to Post in our a Poetry Thread!

All synonyms cost the same. To get an antonym, you have to trade in a synonym. Homonyms cost a pound of English currency.

Given current exchange rates, I can't even afford an American homonym.

Swear to god, I read that as "homo nymph"

You should see current prices for Past Participles!
