Well this is a show that had Castle hop into an alternate dimension. I didn't mind the episode despite the implausibility of it all. I don't think we've heard the last of this though. There are still too many gaps to fill in.

Yea. It was out there, but at least it was handled ok enough. Fair point, I wonder if it's connected to his dad in any way?

The only way they can make this resolution somewhat interesting is if the good guys were actually the bad guys and who they took out wasn't al-Qaeda. They'd probably have to tie it into Castle's father though.

I was actually expecting Castle's Dad to show up at some point. Maybe he will when they address the remaining unanswered questions.

I don't know if this is just our perceptions, but my wife and I fly only once a year to visit family, and evry year we start noticing more plane crashes and plane threats in the news and on TV shows in the couple of weeks preceding our trip.

I don't think Columbo ever did that one, although they did have "Solve a Crime on a Cruise Ship" once.

And just to be PC, I guess, they suspected the Middle Eastern guy (so they could mention ISIS, I guess), but he turned out to be innocent.

So that felt like a series finale. And now they're coming back for another season.
