Anyone Know When The 3rd NuTrek Movie Will Be Released?

I was wondering if they decided on a release date. Star Wars 7 is coming out in December 2015 and I think it would be a mistake for the producers of the 3rd NuST to release it early 2016. I just viewed the new SW trailer and I think it will be in theater for at least 2 months. The trailer was fantastic. For ST to try and follow that to closely would be a mistake and may lower box office. I think they should release the movie in the fall of 2016 because it would fall exactly on the 50th anniversary. Basically give Star Trek a time of its own to celebrate its anniversary instead of trying to share the spotlight with SW. Thoughts

Oh. is that date concrete? It would be better to release it in fall. Less competition and the fall is actually the 50th since that's when Star trek debuted.

Fall isn't what Paramount wants. They want Star Trek to be in the Summer.
