Arrow - Season 3

I'm glad Nyssa didn't become the jilted heir and fight against her father for Oliver. I also liked that Ollie knew how to "get to her" by asking what would Sara want. I really liked that Nyssa did what Sara did when she first came to town. Shadow and protect Sara's sister, Laurel. :techman:

But I still don't like Laurel as the Canary. :brickwall:

Sara looked like a natural in that mask. Laurel looks like she's dressed for a Halloween party. :alienblush:

I would be SO STOKED if the woman with a red (?) staff, photographed from the ankle level in that final 5 episode teaser was a rejuvenated Sara Lance. :bolian:

Whereas I'm glad she didn't fight against Oliver for her father's legacy. I'm glad she recognized that Oliver isn't her rival, that they both want the same thing -- namely, for Oliver not to succeed Ra's.

And I won't be surprised if the season ends with Nyssa taking over the League.

I've never liked Laurel as, well, anything.

This was a great episode.
I definitely think the stuff with the nano-tech is leading to Ray getting his shrinking powers. I expected the last scene to be him appearing to disapear from his bed, only for them to zoom in and show that he shrank.
I'm curious to see where they are going to go with Quentin Lance's story arc right now. It's clear that he's letting his grief and anger over Sarah's death get to him, but I have to question if his relationship with Team Arrow can ever be repaired. I loved Ra's grabbing Lance and revealing The Arrow's identity, I did not expect that.
I actually thought they were going to leave Arrows identity out in the open, so the end really surprised me.
The whole flashback story with Shado's sister was kind of ridiculous, but I think it worked better than having Shado still be alive. We already got a miraculous survival with Sarah, and I'd rather not see them repeat themselves with Shado.
I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.

The flashbacks are getting tiresome. When Oliver finally told Shado's twin sister what happened on the island "two years ago," I started running numbers in my head. " Is that right?" If Shado/Twin said her dad and sister had both disappeared three years earlier, that meant they had both been on the island only a year before Ollie came, but it seemed longer than that. Since this is Season 3, wouldn't the current timeline be three years after Ollie returned to Starling City?

More importantly, Mei didn't seem to have any fighting experience. Shado made it sound like Yao Fei spent a lot of energy turning her into a skilled fighter. You'd think he'd do the same for her identical twin.

^Maybe they weren't raised together. Or maybe Mei just didn't want to. Physically identical twins aren't identical in personality; indeed, they often try very hard not to be identical, because everyone expects it of them.

I worry if Mei is still around and Slade finds out about her. She isn't Shado but he is "crazy".

Slade hasn't revealed himself this far back into the past.

He could know all about Mei, but mixing up twins goes beyond crazy, it's really rude.

Was there even a conversation about who was going to die at the end of season one?

Tommy and Laurel could not continue knocking boots because it interfered with Olivers quest to get every he deserved. One of them had to die to push the story forward.

Felicity came out of left field.

It's amazing that they kept Laurel after Sarah and Felicity made her doubly redundant.

Tommy was too pretty to live.

You think that Harbinger is also too pretty to live?

Women with wedding rings are invisible to me as sexual beings, so I'll just have to take your word for it.

Maybe by killing Sara at the beginning of the season, they won't bother with killing anyone "important" at the end of the season. :techman:

There's always Thea. They killed Daddy Queen in season 1, and Mommy Queen in season 2. Why not sister Queen in season 3? :p

Speaking of Queens, whatever happened to Ollie's illegitimate son that Mommy Queen paid the pregnant teen to disappear with 7 years ago? I know we saw a glimpse of her in Flash's city, but I don't recall seeing her anywhere else.

If they killed Felicity, I would probably drop the show. :scream:

He'll show up in the flash forward as Connor Hawke, the new Arrow.
