Rocky V, on the other hand....no sir, I don't like it.

There are actually 6. The first and last are probably the best movies in the series. The 3rd and 4th are more fun though.

Most of them are quite good. The themes of the power of the human spirit and about pursuing and achieving dreams are very uplifting.

I'm assuming from your avatar that you're female, I tried lagging my girlfriend for ages to watch them as she'd never seen them and just didn't want to watch them because of the subject matter.

She ended up loving them. (though I didn't subject her to number 5)

They are just classic, sometimes cheesy 70s/80s movies.

No, am a guy, Kira is just my favourite character in all of Trek .

I am however the type of guy who'd rather watch Mean Girls or The Help than Saving Private Ryan or Pacific Rim for instance.

I love Kira. One of the best characters in the whole franchise. I'm always shocked when she shows up on "least favorite" lists.

I agree on both counts. Rocky 1 is the best sports movie ever made imo. Unfortunately, the original was diminished by all of the inferior sequels.
