It's a really fun arcade style racer. I enjoyed the second one slightly better since you can go offroading on it, but I think you can only do it on the Xbox One version and not the 360.
I've been enjoying some relaxing rounds with Bejeweled 2. I love the music in that game, and I play it on endless mode. Some of the music in that game takes me back to when I was growing up in the '80s.. They aren't actual songs out of that era, but the music itself is reminiscent of the feel of the music back then. There's a couple of tunes that call to mind "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz, and there's a tune in there that sounds like it is something that my all time favorite band, Duran Duran could've written. It also makes a nice nod to Star Trek. One of the planets in puzzle mode is called "Cet Alpha V".
Resident Evil Revelations 2, and I'm loving the hell out of it! The return of Claire Redfield....hell, yes!
Yeah, time does seem to be a factor. Laptop wise, I'm doing a rerun of Mass Effect. Origin seems to have gone screwy and freezes everything at the moment (Whether I try and run or uninstall it). Fortunately, it's still ok on the Desktop where I'm doing a Inquisition Templar run. Lastly, my mate's just given me the PS2 version of Manhunt to try.
Playing a bit of Darkest Dungeon, nice tactical dungeon crawler with an added stress mechanic. Having your heroes go mental because they got munched on by a lovecraftian horror after too much exploring without a break is fun.
After finishing up GTA V, I am trying to decide what to boot up next. Bayonetta, RDR, GoWIII, Condemned 2 or Wet. Tough choice.
So while I await Ep 2 of Life Is Strange, I'm mulling a choice between a couple of possibilities: Consortium and Sid Meier's Starships. Anyone here have experience with either game? (Never mind, just went with Consortium.)
I work full-time, do some business on the side, plus volunteer work, and I'm a single parent. I still have time to play games (albeit not nearly as much as I used to.) What's your excuse?
Replayed the TWD season 1 game + DLC (played it before on PS3 but moved to PC) will start season 2 tommorow, looking forward since I never played season 2.
I'm annoyed about the Walking Dead, I played season 1 on the Xbox 360 ages ago, and once I got rid of the xbox. I rented it and played it again on the PS4 and figured I'd continue on the season 2. Well when I changed hard drives I lost the save info on the hard drive and now it won't download it from the cloud because I don't have the game installed... UGH!
Try disabling the Origin in-game overlay. Apparently it's known to cause problems. Something to do with DirectX IIRC.
Thanks but I don't think I could even get that far unfortunately. It just completely froze solid before the icon or password request screen popped up I'd narrowed it down to either a windows update or a KOTOR installation that may have mucked it up somehow. (Down to timing really) A quick restore seems to have repaired the issue and windows has since updated and things seem to be ok right now. I haven't reinstalled KOTOR yet but I've got it on another machine so I'll leave it there for now.
Yeah, on general principle I avoid getting any games that involve savegame exporting/importing for my PS3. It's a lot easier to manage this stuff if you just stick with PC.
Haha, Sony is no Nintendo, but some infrastructure and online backend issues still suggest they're new to this whole newfangled "internet" thing the kids appear to be so crazy about. Oh well, they're Japanese - not an excuse, just an explanation. Then again, Xbox Live issues are so frequent this gen (whereas XBL was rock-solid nearly all the time on 360) that even Microsoft isn't a great rolemodel anymore in that regard.
