You will notice the gray on the bottom looks very dark in comparison to the top...in reality, if you noticed the strip on the top of the shuttle that is the same color and shows up a lot lighter. So the contrast of the two colors is not really as drastic as the photo shows. Its just hard to get a good shot with the lighting in my hobby shop. ;)

Hey Terry... the two-tone gray color is now looking closer to our original PA Class-F design : ) ...well done mate!

Yep, we see that...cool! :techman:
But...the wing top seems to look a bit short to me? - looking from the top down view... I know your still is the middle of builing the wings though .. ; )

Just for you Rick, I have extended the wing backwards. Will post a photo perhaps this week end. There seems to be more and more little adjustments I am discovering as I go through the build process. Amazing how much detail has been incorporated into his design. I am wondering if I might have bit off more than I can chew. :alienblush:

RIck,
Here is a shot of the extended wing. Needs more work now, but hopefully it is more the right proportion as the design.

I also got a chance to add some aztec panels to the one side of the shuttle last night. Some people may not even realize the extent of details that the Ricks put into this design, but if you look REALLY CLOSE to their images, you will see that the shuttle actually has small access panels all over it. These are some times very hard to duplicate but I have tried in my own small way.

Here are some progress shots and how it finally turned out.

First pictures is after the Aztec tape comes off....

Second Pictures is after I apply the first layer of over spray...

Third pictures is after second layer of over spray...

and the forth picture is what the final aztec panels look like before a coat of FUTURE Floor wax is applied followed by the identifying Enterprise decals.

THAT'S AWESOME TERRY THANKS : )
SHE IS COMING TOGETHER…and you're right, we did build a lot of detail into our PA designs… but nothing you can't handle pal : )

Wow, the wings look good, and I really like how the panels turned out!

I need to get busy on your nacelle domes, and the decals for you. :)

-Ricky

I have started doing some of the preliminary wiring and was wondering how you are coming with the 3D Printing of the fans and the decal layouts Ricky? I am trying to keep as much of the ship as modular as I can. Just hate sealing up wiring or an electronic part only to have it fail :/ Really excited to try and print some decals and see how they will fit. Let me know , so I can plan the next stages of the build.

i'M SORRY, i'M SORRY, i'M SORRY .... did a booboo...I tried to rearrange and centralize all my shuttle photos and it killed many of the links in this thread.. I have placed them all in one album now, so if you can see at least one then you can click on it and see the rest of the build. I will continue to upload new photos as the build continues and they should be good but I can do anything about the ones that have been moved. Once again, sorry guys.
