Once Upon A Time Season 4

I'm still bothered by the fact that Cruella now has powers of a kind. It may seem a minor point, and it's definitely a show built upon turning the traditional stories on their ear. Still, I rather like the seeming dark turn. Even if the dialogue and the set up seems cliched.

I dont know if its me, but im having a hard time trying to fit all these flashbacks in order. Its like enough already. How much stuff can really of happened in that short time in the past.

I used to keep a journal to keep track of what happened back in the Enchanted Forest. I gave up trying.

Wow, when Snow was telling Regina what she did in the past, it had me on the edge of my seat. There were two interesting revelations: that Maleficent was once pregnant, and that Snow and Charming were responsible for what happened that resulted in Maleficent losing her baby. We just don't know the details for now. Snow and Charming's motivations for hurting Maleficent in the past appeared to have arisen from their fears about their child's (Emma) capacity for darkness. It just seemed out of character for these two to have committed something so unspeakably horrendous that they would go through great lengths to hide their secret.

Looks like Zelena will be back. Can't wait to see Regina infiltrate the villains. On a different note, am I the only one bothered by Cruella's fake over-the-top eyebrows?

can someone explain to me what happened to Anastasia from OUaT in Wonderland?

Have they said any thing on screen that ive missed? Looks like Knave moved on but trying to piece that whole time line into this. Plus how did he get back to Story Brooke.

We don't yet know what happened to Ana or how/why Will is back in Storybrooke, but as far as OUaTiW goes, those events took place concurrent with the first 3 or 4 episodes of OUaT Season 2, meaning that it's been well over a year - in Land without Magic reckoning, at least - since Jafar's defeat.

I think it's amusing that they have Cruella's infamous glowing green smoke be the source of her power, but have removed the cigarette creating it. I can understand why they wouldn't want the heroes to be smokers, but that's Cruella's thing - her prop. This deserves a  and a  all at the same time.

I had the past two episodes on in the background while I was doing stuff around the house. I walked in and saw Belle kissing Will. When did those two become close? I must have really not been paying attention.

I may be wrong but I think that was the first indication of something going on between them.

Will Scarlet has spent an inordinate amount of time at the Storybrooke library, so I guess he and Belle are at least acquainted. But that was the first time I've seen them kiss.

Thanks! It just seemed to come out of left field for me. I knew he had been around the library, but I only thought of them as acquaintances at best. I guess Rumple needed some more angst and fuel for the get even party.

Wish this show would focus more on Emma and the other characters. I really dont care for either Snow or Hook.
I don't know how old it was, but it did say on the OUaT wiki that they will deal with how Will ended up back in Storybrooke, and what happened to Anastatsia sometime during this second half of the season.
Yeah, this was the first we've seen of him and Belle as a couple. There was a gap ofseveral months between the two halves of the season, so at least it's easy to explain why things changed.
When they first started talking about something that Snow and Charming did back in the Enchanted Forest, and we saw them working with The Queens of Darkness, I thought that was going to be the whole thing, so I was glad there was more to it. I'm very curious to see exactly how they cost Malificent her child. At first I thought maybe they were reveal that Emma was actually Malificent's daughter, but I'm not really sure if they'd actually go that route.
I was kind of surprised to see Rumple just walking around in town like that. I hope he had some kind of cloaking spell on himself or something.
Was the picture of the door with "The Author" written by it in Jefferson't hat?
It was nice seeing Pinocchio and Marco again. I was curious what had happened to them since August got turned back into a kid.
I'm hopping we get origin story episodes for The Queens of Darkness soon.

I wonder if the show will end upon them meeting the Author. I have a feeling it will be an homage to Uncle Walt.

Are you expecting this to be the last season, or do you expect the storyline to continue on until whenever the show ends?

This is unlikely to be the last season, I think, so it might become an ongoing quest. Whoever the Author turns out to be, it seems like it would be anticlimactic to go on after meeting them. Unless they have some new direction planned that results from the meeting.

I'm sure. The ratings are still quite good. Perhaps they'll find the Author in the season cliffhanger and that will carry the plot through next year.

It's all about the ratings. I don't think the network execs over at ABC will arbitrarily cancel a show that's been running strong and has a good fanbase.

I watched this show for about four episodes, but then a lot of other shows I liked came back after Christmas, and I sort of forgot about it.

Is it worth getting back into?

^^ It's hard to say. I've been watching since the beginning, so I'm invested in it-- I'm not sure how somebody would feel about it coming in at such a late date.

Mostly, yes. But, on the other hand, Lost was brought to a conclusion after about five seasons even though the ratings were still strong, and some of the same people are involved. Sometimes they just decide to end a show.
