Star Trek Continues, Episode 4...

I haven't heard anything.

It would be cool if they'd put out an official trailer, in the traditional "Next Voyage" format, one week before release.

They're not revealing much. The BTS pics they are releasing just show the main cast, it would be nice to see some with the guest stars. Is it really that much of a spoiler to show the guests?

It seems quite old school compared to how so many things these days are revealed long before a film premieres on the big screen. As fans we're very curious about what is forthcoming, but then again it's nice to be surprised.

IMDB and Wikipedia show the Episode 4 title as "The White Iris". I'm surprised since I didn't see any announcement on FB or Twitter.

Interesting title, possibly referring to being "Blind", that 5 letter clue they were hinting at in their posts? My only reservation is that they also said it involves something that hasn't been dealt with before in Star Trek, which would be off-base, since the crew dealt with Spock's blindness in Operation Annihilate.

The spoiler is probably unnecessary except it includes a hint about the episode theme posted by the STC team.

And Dr. Miranda Jones, of course.

Blind could also refer to not realizing the real import of one's actions rather than straightforward loss of eyesight.

Strangely I feel "The White Iris" sounds more like a crime mystery title rather than SF, but who knows.

It could also refer to the flower and a past memory (gouging my eyes out remembering TNG's Paris holo-adventure. Wait, that was with Michelle Philips- never mind). I'm just surprised that the title was posted or leaked without any fanfare.

What happens sometimes (at least it has happened with us at Star Trek New Voyages/Phase II) is that production crew members decide to "help" and jump onto IMDb the moment shooting wraps to "update" it with the latest information. (That's the drawback of publically-maintained databases.)

Isn't there such a thing as a white cemetery iris? Perhaps the five letter theme is "death."

Anyone think they will have some sort of tribute to Leonard Nimoy in the new episode? Maybe just a "In memory of" type thing they used to do at the end of TNG episodes?

James Kerwin has mentioned that Vic Mignogna is returning to the director's chair (as well as the captain's chair) for Episode 5.

So they've just announced that they're about to begin construction of the main Engineering set as well as the planet set. They say they will post pictures on their FB page as they progress with construction.

Victory!! Victory!!
