Star Trek Online and Star Citizen's Arena Commander.

Star Trek Online because it now seems a waste not to play it...

Star Citizen's Arena Commander because it's actually fun.

The only thing I ever play is South Park: The Stick of Truth. It rocks.

One of my favorite games from last gen. It's one of the few that I plan on keeping for years.

    -

Finished off Magus. Took around 5 hours to get to 100% completion. It's one of those games that I would pick up in the discount bargain bins, pre-played. I feel sorry for those that paid full retail. Glad it was a free rental.

For what it's worth, I actually loved the car handling in GTA IV. Thought it was one of the better aspects of the game, where it felt more rewarding.

The Evil Within. Good game. Eerie, disturbing. Very reminiscent of Resident Evil 4 in terms of gameplay. Not surprising since it was made by RE's creator. :)

I've finished Chrono Cross. I enjoyed it a lot, even if some of the obscure conditions with some of the characters was annoying in the beginning. I liked the story, and the combat system was interesting. I apparently got the "good" ending, and it was pretty bland, but actually learning what has been going on was interesting, and the connections between CC and Chrono Trigger.

Honestly, I think going back and playing Chrono Trigger at this point would just disappoint me, since I doubt it could live up to Chrono Cross. Still, I'll probably get to it eventually, although I plan to take a break before playing another RPG. I'm not quite sure what I'll play next, but I'll probably get to Metal Gear Solid soon.

Tried out Remember Me last night, it's pretty interesting so far. Might end up buying it used so I can play more. Played some NiNoKuni too and love it. The battling is pretty intense. And played some MK vs. DC, I think I like playing as Sub-Zero better than Scorpion though. The latter just seems lacking in some way.

I'm still trying to get used to it.

That said, I'm playing the missions, but the game doesn't feel right. It's probably just me, but the game feels more obligatory than fun. I do missions because I have to, not because I can't wait to see what's next. I've seen screenshots for GTA V, and they look awesome. There's sunny skies, and bright colors. I want GTA V, but will have to wait until the price drops.

Played the beginning of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (XBONE) yesterday, and boy, does it look fucking sharp.

It also has a ton of gameplay systems to it, I'll be interested to see how it pans out over the course of the playthrough. The Nemesis System looks very promising, I hate that named orc who managed to kill me with a fiery passion already - working as intended ;)

I am playing that age-old favorite, Find the Building Mantenence Guy 3.1 and it's a real corker. You just match wits with a person who has made it an Artform, AND his Life's Work to avoid working and being found, while getting paid. I hear they will add elements from "I Know What You Did To The Plumbing" for next year's release! :)

Started playing the original Metal Gear Solid. Its...definitely old, and I HATE the top down camera, but its not a huge deal. I'm mostly playing it for the story anyway, and that's decent so far, although I'm only a small way into the game.

^ Prepare to have you mind blown by Hideo Kojima roughly 24 times throughout the first game alone.

Played the first 2 hours of Costume Quest 2 (XBONE) last night, still charming as fuck, and the performance is finally acceptable (unlike the original game, which was a fucking mess on 360 and PS3).

Well, I'm definitely playing it for the story, because the gameplay is barely tolerable. I'm already a fan of the franchise, this is the only main series MGS game I haven't played (I don't count Ac!d, the portable ops games, Revengeance or that 2 hour demo they wanted $40 for as really part of the series, although the last two are obviously canon). I played MGS4 as one of my first PS3 games, liked it but didn't go on. Then, last year I got the MGS HD Collection, and played them in chronological story order (MGS 3, MGS Peacewalker, then MGS 2) then replayed MGS4, and now I'm finishing by finally playing the last main MGS game I need to play, the original Metal Gear Solid.

I'm definitely just playing it for the story, though. I already know all the plot elements of the original MGS from playing the other games. I know about Liquid, the virus, Sniper Wolf/Grey Fox, etc. But, its not the same as experiencing the story itself, so I got MGS on PSN to play through it. Its gameplay makes MGS2 look like MGS4, and Lei Mei's voice actress is driving me crazy, but the story is good so far, so I think that's what will get me through the game.

To me, MGS4 was the first game I personally had ever proclaimed was "the perfect video game.". The Last of Us also fall into that category. In my view, those two games are the only ones I have ever felt were just perfect. There are tons of great games that I've played, but MGS4 and TLoU surpass them. Personal views only. :)

Yeah, if anything, that's one of my criticisms about the game. It's a rather long game that seems to go on and on. I kept feeling like it was supposed to end, but they kept introducing something new. I felt like I had to push through to get to the end.

On the plus side, I managed to snag a copy of GTA V! It's on it's way, and by early next week I should be in sunny Los Santos! :D

I'll still work on GTA IV, but with V on the way, I'm not as motivated to continue.

I gave up on Etrian Odyssey IV and Dark Souls. Both games are good, but I can't get into games that require such a large time investment these days. Whenever I think of booting up Dark Souls I always somehow end up playing a game or two of Hearthstone. Prioritizing a free to play casual game over a hardcore action RPG? My ten year old self would be disgusted to see me today.

Well with that said, I started playing 3D Fantasy Zone and Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies for the 3DS. These games are a better fit for me.
