"Agent Carter" season one discussion and spoilers

Act III:

The moment when Chief realizes he REALLY underestimated Peggy.

Interesting, this new guy of Agent Yauch. Suddenly, a new guy shows up with a big role....

"Well, I couldn't exactly outrun her, Jack...."

Ah...! So...the engineer's "wisdom" is now geared towards creating misplaced ambition.

Okay...I'm a little disappointed that, for all the build-up about the landlady being such a hard-case--she's ultimately useless in delaying Thompson and Sousa.

Okay, boys...so it NEVER occurs to look out the window? Just say "She's here, somewhere?" (But then, there haven't been that many movies yes, where the person's outside the window, I guess....)

Act IV:

Oh, boy.

"Fatheaded male co-workers." Heh-heh-heh!

I love how awkward the guys are to the painfully obvious staged tears.

One thing I don't get...why is the Leviathan plant the guy who cleared Stark?

Still, at last he's using his super-trustworthiness to his advantage...with a little help from hypnosis.

WHOA! Alas, poor Yauch.

You're a good woman, Angie. One wonders if she'll join SHIELD in the end.

Beware, Peggy! DOTTIE IS TRIUMPHANT!!!

That... surprisingly works.

It's about time the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduced the Circus of Crime.

Act V:

NO, Sousa and Thompson! Don't fall for the "schoolgirl act"!

Well, at least they're not in danger...but Peggy is not disgraced, turned over to SSR by her enemy.

Okay...so why did Dottie leave the door unlocked? Bit sloppy, wouldn't you think?

The irony...no longer are they underestimating her. But it's because they're against her.

"Let's get started." TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Faustus was named dropped on Agents of SHIELD earlier this season ("Making Friends and Influencing People") in regards to HYDRA's brainwashing technique.

This week's speculation (probably wrong!).

You know whose wrist conspicuously we did not get a good look at? Angie's. Angie, who was awfully quick to help Peggie when Federal agents were after her. I'm wondering if it was a fortuitously good thing that Dottie intervened and kept Peggy from making her rendezvous set up by Angie.

Although of course it could be, I'm still not convinced that it was Dottie who took out Krzeminski, primarily because it hasn't been said yet. The idea that women make good infiltrators because no one suspects them should pay off even as far as Peggy is concerned.

Another thing. Dr. Ivchenko was shown being forced to join Leviathan, and Dottie was the muscle there. So how is it that Ivchenko ends up controlling Dottie? There has to be a missing piece there. Perhaps Ivchenko has infiltrated Leviathan and hypno-brainwashed some of its leaders and possibly Dottie, causing Leviathan to split into factions. There has to be something that explains why the two men with laryngectomies both seemed to be associated with Leviathan and yet both seemed to be on opposite sides. And there has to be something that explains all the chaos found at the Red Room training facility.

Looking forward to the exciting continuation....

^Indeed--and wasn't the good doctor the one who stated in no uncertain terms that Stark had NOTHING to do with his inventions being used by Leviathan? (Or was it the one who died? Regardless...he certainly didn't claim otherwise.)

Well, let's remember Shield is about to be formed and Hydra had it's tentacles in it from the start. Who in the show right now is most likely to be Hydra? The psychiatrist. Why clear Stark? Because Hydra would like Stark to continue to develop tech for the organization they are setting up as a front.
