OH MY GOD. HELLO KITTY KINDER SURPRISE.

THE EGG. Despite my best efforts it was melted and flattened somewhat as it was 35 yesterday. Oh look, a cat hair

OPENED. Melty dents :(

As you can see the chocolate is thin and the toy case is huge and, as Miss Chicken pointed out, tightly sealed.

HELLO KITTY! There were two parts to this figure, the wings and the kitty :)

The egg also contains instructions (shown) for putting on the wings lol, AND a paper that folds into a background setting for Hello Kitty.

Hello Kitty in her setting :)

A nice toy. However, I wonder how easily the bow and magic wand break off and how the toy is put together. Once it comes apart, it could present a choking hazard. Kids are rough on their toys (more so than adults).

 As was mentioned upthread Aged 3 and Up is clearly marked, in more than one place, if I recall. Keeping the smaller bits from becoming choking hazards is the responsibility of the supervising adult, not the Kinder Surprise company.

Hello Kitty in her setting :)
The fiancé got a four-pack the other day (2 Hello Kitty figures guaranteed, which sorta feels like cheating to me - there were no guaranteed figures back in my day, we were way more hardcore about Kinder Eggs back then).

She got this one.

I got this one (I told her not to pack one of the eggs in with my lunch, she did not listen ;)):

I have now bought 8 of them one at a time and each one was Hello Kitty and each one was different. In all the years I've been buying them I've never had a featured toy not be in every egg. Maybe in some other sad place this is the case.

My favorite is the snow one with the little antlers :adore:

Yeah, Hello Kitty apparently likes to feed deer. I had no idea her character had that much of a backstory.

The worst part is once you realize that he's actually a cyclops. I mean, look at him. One giant eye with two pupils.

My ex won this cute jade box on ebay for a dollar.. when it arrived we found out shipping was 54 bucks... she forgot to read the small print.

Well just because you buy the toy comes in a chocolate egg doesn't mean you have to eat the chocolate.
Years ago, a cereal company had this promotion going on where they included a computer game on a CD in each box. I remember one time when I really wanted the game but didn't like the cereal. So as soon as we got the groceries home, I opened the box, grabbed the game out of it, and handed the box to my dad. He asked what he was supposed to do with it.

"Eat it," I told him. "I just wanted the game, and you can have the rest of it."

Since my dad liked that kind of cereal, it was a mutually satisfying solution. :p
