NBC is reviving Heroes

So...no one has caught the really weird and nothing trailer that aired during the superbowl?

Well, we've now established that Levi will be a bad guy, and that we will still have worldwide diversity (assuming the girl is actually a character, and not just a visual).

I'm hoping it will be good. Having HRG as their first announced character was wise.

i'm hopeful that they learned from the previous show. So far, so good.

I'm looking forward to it.

heroes' represents the best way not to write a show after a great season 1. the show's fatal mistake was keeping sylar alive for so long and making me so powerful and impossible to defeat.

I stayed with Heroes to the bitter end, and it was rough. But that trailer nearly gave me goosebumps by using the amazing musical & visual style the show used. Even when the plots were absolutely terrible (aka almost always post season-1,) Heroes had an undeniable sense of style that I always loved. Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman are very talented.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Coleman_(musician)

I was a Bitter Ender, too, but I'm still looking forward to this. In the same way that I'm looking forward to Twin Peaks. It's their shot at redemption. :rommie:

It is a cool trailer, visually. It just would have been nice to get something that gave us at least some hint as to what's going to happen.

Seems obvious. Good guy tries to get to the metahuman/mutant/Hero before the bad guy does. Pretty much all the seasons of Heroes. :rommie:

Ugggh...all white people???

The international diversity is one reason why i liked Heroes. (Though Robbie Kay was a very effective villain in OUAT)

They need to bring back Noah -- he'd fulfill the handsome young man requirement most TV shows require.

First time round, I gave up midway through season 2. Then years later after it was cancelled, I decided to watch all the way through.

Never in television history has a show had such a magnificent first season. I mean every week, I was desperate to see the next episode. The characters were great, the powers were great, the concept, everything. Then bang, it just went so awful. How bad it became was truly perplexing

I can understand the desire to fix it and make it what it should have been but it had it's chance, it messed it up. Leave it alone

I just realized how symbolically prophetic it was that the first episode of Heroes featured a train wreck....

The second season was affected by the writer's strike, but I can't really call the series a trainwreck. They kept to the premise of ordinary people who had extraordinary powers. It's a same though they couldn't pick up the miniseries from where the series ended. The eclipse two parter in the tird season was probably the lowest point of the series though, at least for me.

Yea, I enjoyed all of S1, and I thought S4 came close to returning it to form. S2 and S3, although, there was some interesting plots, they didn't do much with them, and there was too much afterthought going into de-powering Peter, Sylar, Hiro and Matt over and over again, because they allowed them to become "invincible Gods"
