Here's a revised version of "Friday's Power-Cat," to the original just upthread.

I think it has a better mask on the power-cat to place him (or her!) behind the rock. What do you think?

Not bad, but the color values on the cat are too close to the landscape. I had to look twice to even see it.

I did that deliberately.

The animal's colors in the source image created some problems. Although the cat was a different color altogether in TAS, I realized I could solve those problems by matching to the landscape, and it seemed plausible as crypsis in this setting (as if the power-cat in TAS was from a different part of the planet).

It was difficult for me to gage what effect this would have on the audience, though. Perhaps I should rethink that!

I'd also like to take one more stab at the rock mask, and maybe try to add some more static electricity in the scene.

Yes. However, I believe that Maurice's constructive criticism is quite valid. I intend the next version that I'm working on now to take that into account.

Can somebody do a picture with Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, and Chekov in TNG (season 1 & 2) uniforms, and a picture of Picard, Riker, Data, LaForge, Crusher, Worf, and so on from Season 1 in the TOS uniforms?
