Alabama, Oregon, FSU and Ohio State.

As if Texas needed another reason to secede.

The NCAA needs to allow the Big XII to have a championship game, if they had then either Baylor or TCU would be in the playoff.

It's still debatable that they'd be in instead of OSU, but the odds would definitely be better. It's not a question of the NCAA allowing it per se, but instead of the conference having the requisite number of teams to qualify for having that championship game. They need 12. Even so, they could have petitioned the NCAA for a waiver but apparently they did not.

If they want a title game they need to add teams, instead of letting Texas force teams out.

TCU and Baylor can look to Austin if they want someone to blame.

I don't know, I mean they are the only conference where everyone has to play everyone so that should be worth something. I think what it boils down to is the conference trying to declare the whole co-champion thing in some wild hope that they would both could get the nod. It backfired spectacularly though. Do they have to go and try to woo a couple more teams to round out the conference?

I would have has Auburn play TCU and Miss St. play Baylor.

And then there would be no controversy once they lose to both SEC teams.

TCU welcomes the chance to play any SEC team, and if you will excuse me, we have a rebellion to put down.

Two good bowl games this morning. Baylor really blew it. Hopefully the playoff bowls live up to these games.

Even without those turnovers, Oregon was outplaying FSU

    Speaking of turnovers....

But seriously Florida State had more turnovers than Pillsbury.

Man Ohio State is doing pretty well. I mean defense not so much, but their offense sure is. Should be a great second half.

This was the best possible New Year's Day of football for me!!

FSU and overrated Winston get blown out by Oregon.
    B1G Ten's OSU upsets Alabama!!!
Michigan State comes back and beats Baylor.
    Wisconsin beats Auburn.

I guess the argument for TCU over Ohio State wasn't the right argument. If should have been TCU over Florida State!!

That and Penn State toughed out their Bowl win on the 27th.

The mighty SEC isn't lookin so mighty anymore.

My prediction for the national championship game?

I think Ohio State wins the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and wins a close game.

No SEC in the championship game. That's a victory for Good right there...

Somewhere in the frozen rustbelt, Neroon is celebrating.

Oregon beats OSU by a decent margin, methinks...

I am very happy that there is no SEC rep in the National Championship game, and remember kids that if the BCS was still in place it would have been FSU vs. Alabama for the title.

As a die-hard FSU fan I was severely disappointed in how my boys played. Winston was not wearing his contacts, obviously, and his throws were terrible as a result. Dalvin Cook is a future first round draft pick, but he has to learn how to handle the dang ball. No excuse for those two fumbles. Last night's game is the first one I have ever walked out of - but I couldn't stick around after Winston's untouched fumble. That was terrible.

To those yahoos that run the whole " FSU was overrated" garbage, I ask this: when was the last time your favorite team won 29 games in a row? ;)

Kudos to Oregon. That is a powerhouse team, and it reminds me of the 2013 Seminoles team.

I can see the Ducks winning by three touchdowns over OSU.

I watched one FSU game from star to finish. The Notre Dame game.

    They gave it to FSU.

How many other come from behind wins, even as a hard core fan do you think you should have won?

I wish they would have lost a game so we could have seen TCU v Ducks.

Can't knock winning on the field, so I don't think they shouldn't have been there, but they were the weakest of the 4 by far and I do think TCU is a better football team.

If my team was undefeated and a conference champ, I'd say they should be there too, even if I knew they were going to lose.

I watched yesterday's game and didn't see the heart of a champion in FSU. They quit.

A fitting tribute to their classless idiot quarterback. His comments in the post game interview should cement him as a 5th round draft pick.

I also lost a little respect for Jimbo Fisher. When Winston lost it on the sideline in the 3rd, yelling at the HC etc, Jimbo should have benched him.
