Aside from that, I don't recall many successful coaches fired because of personality issues. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I just can't recall any.
Happened with Marty Schottenheimer in San Diego seven years ago. Went 14 - 2 and got sacked because AJ Smith didn't like him.
Edit: The most famous one that comes to mind is Jerry Krause of the Bulls telling Phil Jackson, "I don't care if it's 82-and-0 this year, you're fucking gone."
