And the Next Cancelled Show is...

According to TV Guide's website, Mike & Molly will be getting the timeslot opened up by the cancellation of The Millers starting on December 8.

Next on the cancellation list: TV Land's Hot in Cleveland.

That's interesting. I figure the show would be ending soon (It is in the 6th season) but that they would be given 10 episodes to wrap everything up. But being a sitcom I'm sure the warning they got will be enough to have a real ending.

The 6th season has only aired 2 out of 24 episodes - they have plenty of time to wrap things up.

No back order for 9 more episodes of Constantine by NBC, so that means its probably cancelled.

While I agree I could also see them doing a shorter season and maybe looking for a partner to help finance it for an 13 episode season.

So far there has been no news on Continuum either. Usually this not good, the delay will kill the series as sure as the money equation. So far series show runner Simon Barry has remained tightlipped. His promise that November is the new August has so far not materialized (August was the usual time for news on Continuum renewal).
It's a shame really, Continuum certainly had its moments. I really liked Liber8, with Garza, Kagame and Sonya being especially memorable.
The main flaw with the show was that Rachel Nichols's character wasn't exactly likable, she wasn't much of a hero and seemed clueless as a cop in the future. The complicated timeline stories that originated during season 2 added a problem with viewers unable to keep up when they missed an episode.

I think Continuum is doubtful to return as a full series, best you could maybe hope for would be a mini series to end it.

Kiera wasn't just dumb, she was wrong, and it's amazing watching her figuring it out, that apart from the kid she left there, her future was shit and needed to go.

Imagine a Nazi from 1938, who thinks that his world is the tits, goes back in time 50 years to fight a temporal cold war against who the knows who to preserve/ensure the rise of Adolf Hitler, the chosen one, the greatest, most heroic man in human history who will save the world.

In war, you're only as good as your intel.

Continuum still hasn't been announced? That's not good.

I was waiting for it for about 2 months, and then basically forgot to keep checking after awhile.

THIS is why we can't have nice things!

I saw today that Selfie, while still canceled, is at least going to get to air it's last couple of shows on Hulu.

The Yanks remade the romantic sitcom Gavin and Stacy some time ago, calling it "Us and Them" starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel.

Fox shelfed it.

Unwilling to air the bastard in America because it tested so poorly.

Us and Them aired in South Africa already, and some nasty criminal in New Zealand has began uploading locally aired episodes to the internet.

(No, not me.)

^I'd put The Good Wife as Likely to be Renewed - the showrunners have always planned for 7 seasons, and the ratings and critical acclaim justify a final season.

I've found myself hoping that some of the shows I watch get canceled, so I don't have to bother watching them any more.

I'm getting weird.

The Good Wife has not had anything close to good ratings when it comes to the demo (total viewers are good) since it's early days but I assume it does something Boston Legal did for ABC and appeal to high income viewers or something CBS other shows don't do and of course the critical reception helps + CBS owned show right?

The Good Wife is absolutely a lock for renewal, if for no other reason than by virtue of being CBS' only "prestige" show. Sleepy Hollow, New Girl and The Mindy Project on FOX aren't going anywhere.

Well the Good Wife either just lost another major character or we are about to see Carey raped in prison like it's a rerun of Oz.
