Woah. So "the Host" is over 4000 years old?
I wonder whatever became of Doctor Goodman. Besides this episode, "The Writing on the Wall", we've only seen her in Coulson's flashbacks back in "The Magical Place". It looks like she knew more information about Project T.A.H.I.T.I. than what Doctor Streiten was able to tell Coulson.
I hope Cameron Klein/Hank Thompson will return. I've liked Joel Gretsch's work ever since The 4400.
We haven't gotten any information about how old the Kree Empire is in the MCU, but I agree that predating the Pyramids of Giza goes against the Kree/Inhuman theory.
I cheered at that reference to Strucker.

Did you notice back in "T.A.H.I.T.I." that in addition to the Guest House in the U.S., S.H.I.E.L.D. had the "decommissioned" facilities Coventry in Egypt, and Shangri-La in Hunan, China? Shangri-La's briefly-seen data entry in the episode said that it was officially abandoned in 1968 though covertly operated into the 1990s. Maybe Lumley and Avery were based out of Shangri-La when they met Skye? I've wondered if the show would ever revisit that detail.I thought I was onto something for a second there when I looked up 'Attilan' and saw it's supposedly located in the Himalayas and thought that was the Inhuman connection to Skye...but then I looked up the Hunan province and it's thousands of miles to the east. I know it doesn't preclude the possibility that Skye's parent(s?) are escapees/refugees/fugitives from Attilan, but you'd think they'd either be closer to the Tibetan or Nepalese border, or as far away from it as possible.
Also, that corpse pre-dates the pyramids, so it's more likely than ever that the Mar-Vell theory can be ruled out.
Also, random trivia: Ward knew about Strucker *and* that he's "abroad". He appears to have been a lot deeper in Hydra's belly than we've been lead to believe.
