There are multiple reports that the Bears' locker room was full of fights, to the point that players were being pulled out of the room by others, following today's loss.

Starting to think Trestman's seat might be heating up.

When a team loses cohesion that badly, they are in real trouble.

It's certainly a sign that the coaching staff is losing the locker room, which doesn't bode well for the remainder of the season. It's not terribly surprising to me; Trestman bounced around from team to team for like a decade, and then decided to go to the CFL (where he lucked out in having probably the greatest QB who never played in the NFL) -- it's a pattern that really screams "massive personality issues." I was impressed with how he turned shit into gold with McCown last year, but I'm getting more and more disillusioned. Cutler isn't the problem with that team.

Don't forget you have Brandon Marshall in there too. I'm only reading about this blow-up now, but it sounds like he was at the center of it; I don't know, but it reads that way.

Cutler is not the problem, but he is very up-and-down and at times inconsistent and detached (but so is the team!). I'm not a fan, but I'm not a hater either.

I don't have a strong opinion about the coach - they could do better but they could do worse as well. He probably should get the benefit of the doubt at this point.

At least the Raiders can point to a trip (albeit, a losing one) to a SB in the last 15 years.

It's been sad since post 2002 Super Bowl. Still think Firing Hue Jackson was a huge mistake, but the new GM wanted his own guy. Felt like going back to square one.

Agree. At the least, they should have kept Hue on for one more season and done a much more thorough search for a new HC. If Hue had done well enough that next year, they could have simply ended the sdearch.

I could see the "rush" to get rid of Hue if there had been a proven NFL winner just waiting to take over, but Dennis Allen...? We could have hired this guy anytiime. He wasn't going anywhere, but we rush to get him like he is some hot commodity. SMH.

Just looked at the rest of the Raiders' schedule and it is looking quite 0 - 16-ish. We play Denver, Seattle, KC, San Diego (in San Diego), etc. On paper, the only winnable gam appears to be the Browns, but we play them in Cleavland. If the Raiders DON'T go 0-16, it will likely be due to a huge stroke of pure uncut luck.

At least we still have all our picks next year.

If it weren't for the absolute shitstorm that the Falcons displayed today, I would have said the Bears' performance was the most disorganized, unprepared fuck-off disaster seen in the league this year.

Yesterday was a unbelievable dumpster fire of a game. 200 yards of total offense. Give up 7 sacks. Quick, Saffold, and Jake Long all injured.

The Bears are terrible, just terrible. I am actively hunting offensive players for my fantasy team that play against them in the coming weeks, as they are guaranteed to have a great week. But take comfort Timby, you could be a Jags fan.

Yeah. Funny how every time you think someone is starting to slip, back they come with an utter vengeance. After the KC game everyone was saying, "Oh, Brady is done done, etc." Huh-uh.

Yeah, it was massively impressive (I think he's the first QB with two 500-yard games), but I do have to say that the Colts were hideous. I like how Ben just acts like it's no big deal, though.
