Art that doesn't need its own thread

I know it's not a terribly original joke, but here's my drawing of Kim Cardassian.

Parody of Meghan Trainor's single All About That Bass:

It's a silly idea, but I thought I might as well do it before someone came up with the same thing.
Don't be surprised if this comes back to you if you're on Facebook. I shared it out, and it has already been shared by several of my friends. :techman:

Well I had worked these up for this months Art Contest to take my mind off some bad personal stuff, only to browse Klaus' thread with "Vulcanstein" and find that he'd already beat me to the punch with "Spockula". In essence, we came up with the exact same idea sans spelling. Mine started out as a straight up 'shop of Lugosi and Nimoy, then got more stylized. Since I've got too much shit going on, I don't have the time or inclination to come up with anything else. One of these two would've been my entry. Ah well....

Just mixing and matching different items to depict a tunic and pants ensemble for female crew during the "TOS" era.

The tunic is Oshikai's "retro-skirt" with the hip group removed. Clever fellow markets it as a "generic" 60s micro-dress, but he offers an "add-on" that turns it into the famous (infamous?) mini-skirt uniform complete with chevron and rank braids. I found some pants with a leg "flare" morph and a high enough waistline to hide an otherwise bare mid-riff. Though it technically has creases and pockets (Oh no!), the velvet shader I applied hides the worst of those "non canon" details.

Who is she? Eh, hell if I know. Hmm, wait, hellifiknow, 'ellafino, ah, Ella Phino! Why not?

Sincerely,

Bill

Beautiful! I can even see the velour texture.
Well done :)

Thanks, but I fear you may be attributing too much credit to me. Most of this is pre-made content. I just mixed and matched items in offbeat ways. Oshikai created the velour textures and the arranged the various procedural nodes that give them that "oomph!"

BTW, the "Retro-Dress" and the "add-on" Trek patterns are now free through his Deviant Art page! I would provide a direct link, but he renders a lot of "fetish" images. With the new stricter rules the BBS has to reluctantly enforce, I better not risk it.

Just access Deviant Art and plug "Oshikai" into the search bar. From there you can (hopefully) find the download page without too much trouble.

(Oh, the item is for a figure called Aiko 3 sold at daz3d.com. You'll need either Poser or DAZ Studio to properly use the mesh.)

Sincerely,

Bill

I'm working on splcing some ship blueprints together--and would like to take the time to ask if anyone doesn't want this done. I've got some fluid takes--and just wanted to ask the general population here as a whole first.
