I'm not spiral knitting (I don't know if there is such a thing!), but as I'm knitting in the round on double-pointed needles, the colour changes are forming a spiral. I'm going to make the wrist ribbing extra-long because of it.

Mum knits socks. yarn for that is pretty fancy as it is, but If I would love to see what that sort of yarn would make socks look like!

I just started the thumb gusset so now the colours are now spiralling in the opposite direction. I should have the first mitt finished this afternoon, and I'll take a photo of it when it's done.

^Milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Not white chocolate---bleh. Oh hell, who am I kidding; I'd eat white chocolate too, just on principal.

The best kinds of chocolate are, of course, 1)the kind given as a gift ---it would RUDE, after all, not to eat it all in one sitting, and we would never want to be rude, and 2) the chocolate that is in the kitchen, at home, when you're alone in the next room, and all you can think is, "There's chocolate in the next room and NO ONE IS GUARDING IT."

There's that moment when you are with a woman you are attracted to, when the feeling is mutual, and you and she come together for that first real kiss, and she puts her arms around you, and you can feel her just melt into you as you kiss her. To me there are few things that are, or feel, as wonderful as that moment.
