Zoom Session to talk "Discovery"

I decided to start this thread after a new trailer was released, I predicted September 8th, so here we are! We had a few Zoom Sessions for Picard months after the series ended, then we did it again with Lower Decks and it's started to pick up. We've done five in a row and they've all turned out pretty good. We even have some Zoom Regulars now. But not everyone who's active in the LD Forum is active in the Disco Forum... so I'm starting a separate thread here.

If you want to be a part of a Zoom Discussion where we talk about the trailer (or the episodes when they start, from that matter), when would be a good day or time that works best for everyone? I'll be the one hosting it. So far, I've been doing the Zoom Sessions for Lower Decks Saturdays at 7:00pm Eastern Time. But there's no reason why we can't do something different for Discovery.

It's great to see people face-to-face. Especially we've already been interacting with each other on the board for a year or two.... or 20.

If you guys can agree on a decent time slot that works for international users I will be up for this too. Just bear in mind that DISCO will stream internationally on Fridays so do take that into account.

As someone who has been joining the Lower Decks calls I can attest to how much fun they are. It's great to talk to people who love Trek, and everyone is so nice it really is something I look forward too.

Lord Gareth is an excellent host and keeps the conversation on track and makes everyone feel welcome.

We'll stick with Saturdays at 7:00pm Eastern Time for now. When DSC S3 starts, we'll just switch from the Lower Decks forum to here.

If someone who wants to be part of the Zoom Session tells me Saturdays at 7:00pm Eastern Time isn't good for them, then I'll see what we can do.

Great Zoom Session! We spent most of the first two-or-so hours talking about "That Hope Is You", and watched with the volume off while commenting, then spent some time talking about Gene Roddenberry's novelization of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and then somehow we got onto talking about and watching some of an alternate version of "Where No Man Has Gone Before".

Special Thanks to @Captain Moe, @Arpy, @Nx-007, @NCC-73515, @Muji, and @NewHeavensNewEarth!

I'm really looking forward to being able to actually join in the discussion next time around. There were some really interesting concepts, praises, and criticisms being debated and discussed that I really wanted to be 'in' on, but by the time I'd typed something out, the moment had gone so I deleted it. I've got my headset set-up now, so just waiting on the next one.

Come join us tonight folks as we discuss the the second episode of Discovery Season 3 and Star Trek in general.

Time:
4 PM PT / 7 PM EST / Midnight BST / 1 AM CET / 3 AM GST / 10 AM AST

P.S I know clocks are going back this evening in Europe so please double check the times if you are joining from BST and CET I don't think this affect the start time this week as that change normally happens at 2am but math definitely is not my strong point.
