I don't have any cute pictures, but I can share a glimpse into my own rather dim thought process that might bring a smile to your face.

So for the last several pages (before Nerys Ghemor asked) I was trying to figure out what FFH meant. I couldn't find anything on the Internet.

Somehow, with all of the pictures of cats, and the fact that you've got a cat, I got it into my head that cats were a really big deal in your house, and that this could potentially pose problems for in-home health care. I somehow thought that by talking to a social worker at the hospital, you were able to find a special kind of assistant who didn't have any problem working around cats. I felt like I was pretty smart because I figured out that FFH meant:

Feline-Friendly Helper.

Yes, that's the kind of thing I come up with when left to my own devices.

Awwwww...what I love about this is that you can see this is a very happy cat. I always find I have to be careful with viewing and posting YouTube videos, because so many people like to video animals in awkward or painful positions and then claim it's funny.

There's none of that in your video.

Shatnertage, your story was better than any cute picture or video, and I enjoyed them all! Love the monorail kitty, too.

I'm back "home" at my FFH's. Surgery went well. I'm still going to be on the wound vac for a couple more months, but it's amazing... The stuff it's suctioning looks so much healthier now. Turns out that there was an old piece of foam packing left way inside where nobody could see it. Sigh. We know from the size of it that it was from when I was in rehab, because the visiting nurses cut the packing differently (in a much safer manner). If I were a suing kind of person, I'd probably have a good case against the rehab center, but I don't feel like expending the energy. I'm just glad that the plastic surgeon found it, and I can move on.

That's a crappy story--but having a clear, concrete cause to point to, and no more guessing, must feel great. I hope that means you'll be getting stronger soon!

Yeah, now the healing should go more smoothly. Though I still have to finish contending with the damn UTI. I've got another ten days of antibiotics to take.

And by now I've figured out that I pretty much HAVE to sue. Even with insurance, my medical bills for this hospitalization are going to be high.
