Your top 5 movies for 2010...

I really want to see King's Speech but I have a feeling I'm going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD because I don't expect it to show up in Japanese theaters or on base.

on the plus side likely not a film that you have to see on a big screen at least...cold comfort I know.

Of course, this is only what I saw this year; there's a bunch of movies that sound really good that I didn't get to see yet.
 
Excluding re-releases, I've only seen three films at the cinema in 2010, which for me is nevertheless quite the achievement. I'd put them in this order:

1) Inception
2) Toy Story 3
3) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
 
1. How To Train Your Dragon
2. Toy Story 3
3. The King's Speech
4. Tron: Legacy
5. Inception

 Unfortunately, I didn't see Restrepo, Megamind, Tangled, The Fighter, or Rabbit Hole; Movielens suggests that I might like them as well as some of the movies in my top five.

I'm surprised that so many people like True Grit. Perhaps my mistake was in watching the original (for the first time since I was about 6) the night before I went to see the remake/re-adaptation.

5. Toy Story 3

now anyway... still some movies I want to see (Buried, True Grit, etc.)

Hmm... Take 3 or 4 for me. Still haven't seen True Grit, which I expect I will love.. but:
