No, in fact I believe the only visual change to anything currently implemented are the new Exocomps and Polaron weapons. There's new visual effects for some weapons and replicated kit equipment.

A sneaky Klingon found his way to ESD again and killed Quinn over and over. Didn't manage to get a very good screenshot though. Notice the Orion chick on teh floor who managed to get wasted by our dear Admiral.

on a more serious note I do plan to build new pc and play this game like crazy, problem is my current pc can't handle this game, well at least i think it can't, so I won't even try.

thought i'd show you the bridge crew of the u.s.s. stargate
my toon in the center meela morgan. to the left in red is Alice, one of my tac officers. poor girl keeps getting killed may have to reassign her to bridge duty.
on the far right is Mr. Blue, my engineer for some reason thought she was a he.
to the right in blue is my sci officer alyson, while next to her is her replacement ladyl an anear sci officer who is learning the ropes at present.
got ladyl with a token that i got with a misson reward somehow. not sure what mission but it might have been the vault as at the end of that misson a token appeared

I tried out the updated borg and weapons by replaying the Borg mission "Asset Recovery".

Not only that, but you get turned into an actual drone for a moment.
Only thing that can save you is a science officer with Vascular Regenerator.

I LOVE the look of the science ships in STO, but can't bear playing them. >.<
If only I could get the look of a science ship with the performance/stats/setup of a Cruiser or Escort.
