Why do people play the game in windowed mode?

It allows me to bring up things like the tribble breeding flowcharts and the ship chart on my second monitor without disrupting the game. Plus my monitors are already at maximum resolution, so I still playing at the best quality.

Ehm, so you can't play the game fullscreen on monitor 1 and use monitor 2 for the flowcharts etc?
I'm not familiar with dualscreen setups, so...

Nope. Games tend to minimise when you try to click on the second screen. (Happens all the time in Left 4 Dead 2 and it's really annoying).

Despite playing in windoed mode though, its still full screen and the task bar still gets hidden while the game window is selected. It's just easier to flip windows.

my connie kind of separates when it gets to it's last hit points, trouble is that tends to be in all different directions and leads to a respawn

I bought a runabout, and they rock! I mean, they suck really, but they are alot of fun. Fighting a whole group of klingon fighters is awsome. You dogfight, explosions everywhere!

in this mission, I killed the wrong guy If you've done this one, then you know what I mean.

Runabout is for sale at DS9 and hold only left mouse-button to move the camera...

just go to commander level so thought I'd try out a couple of ships the cruiser at top is the uss Boink the escort below is the gerbilise

Early in the thread someone was mentioning that they wished they could take a screen shot without the HUD. And while I haven't had a chance to look through every page, I thought I'd let you all know this little bit of info.

If you go into your installation folder you will find a folder labeled Screenshots, every time you hit the print screen button the game puts a screen shot there for you, no hud.

Love these images btw, perhaps I throw some of my own up here.
