I'm trying to focus on beating some of my backlog of games, or at least beating new games as I buy them. I probably have 20 games that I've bought and paid for that I haven't played for more than 30 minutes, many of them still shrink wrapped! It's mostly Rock Band 2s fault. It's really hard to justify taking that disc out of my Xbox.
In the past couple of weeks I've knocked out in order:
Uncharted - 7/10 kind of fun, but gameplay was a bit sloppy. Jumping sections completely uninspiring.
Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360 versoin)- 9/10 Awesome, if short, single player. Confusing plot. Crazy addicting online as usual. I think I'm at around 24 hours played in multiplayer, and I don't think I'm even in the top 1.5 million! The specops thing is kind of cool, but after doing maybe 1/4 of them there hasn't been anything that pops out like the CoD4 Epilogue.
Uncharted 2 - 8/10 pretty minor gameplay improvements over the last one. Graphics are better, some parts are eye-poppingly gorgeous but still, the core gameplay is lacking. Fun characters/storyline and good graphics are what make this series.
I think next up will be Batman: Arkham Asylum on PS3 and either Prince of Persia or Ghostbusters on 360... if I can pull myself away from MW2 long enough, and don't fall into the habit of just playing Rock Band 2-3 hours a day.
