I bought several chocolate bunnies to give to people for Easter.

I love the tradition we have of teaching children the sheer delight of biting the heads off rabbits. Forget parables, chocolate is the way to train them good.

We've also got the Goldfish crackers, with the theme song that goes like this:

The wholesome snack that smiles back

I am going to try to flash a new BIOS into a Toshiba laptop. The crappy Phoenix BIOS it uses has decided to go haywire. Everything else I tried has miserably failed (shortcircuiting the CMOS, unplugging the CMOS battery, etc.).
Wish the laptop luck. Because if this doesn't work it'll be taking a short flight out the window and into the neighbour's garden.

Today I bought a bicycle. It's a 24-speed hybrid. Rather lightweight. I'm going to use it for commuting to work when weather permits (it's only a ten minute ride) and for getting around locally which will also get me some exercise.

The only thing I added to it right off was a rear mounted carrier for small parcels and my workday lunches. But I've already decided to add sideview mirrors, a small light and perhaps a trip computer.

For the present I'm holding off getting spandex shorts and a helmet (not mandatory for adults in Ontario, Canada).

Been getting nostalgic for old gaming and this seems perfect.

Unfortunately, I just had to purchase a new pair of "running" shoes because my podiatrist told me I had to. I was just recently diagnosed with platers fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. What sucks is that I have to wear these shoes anytime my feet are on the floor even at home. The doctor said that people like me who wear only socks or go barefoot at home keep her in business

Rarely buy scifi toys, but when the mood strikes I always make it something cool.
