Half a tank of gas, now that my car is running again and the thermostat has been replaced. Thanks Dad! :D

Some groceries, Terminator 3, Gran Torino, and Defiance (This was a blind buy because I liked the trailers but never got around to seeing it in theaters.... can anyone tell me if it was any good or not?).

Although I had planned on buying some Keds or Vans and looking like a Hipster (exercise for acting class), I instead found some slinky faux lizard strappy heels at the store on sale for 50% off.

Oh well....

Well, it's my birthday, and I received a couple of gift cards.

So I spent them on Season Two of TOS (Remastered) and a few books:

Ken Bruen, Sanctuary
Jim Butcher, Storm Front
Kat Richardson, Greywalker
and Simon R. Green, The Unnatural Inquirer.

I'm looking forward to seeing TOS with the new special effects. :)

Not with my money, but 30 hand towels, 30 washclothes, 30 pillow covers, 72 shower curtain rings, and 6 giant plastic tubs. And I got stuck blocking up the 10-items or less lane too. Last-second crisis' are so much fun.

:D :D :D

Just bought a 500GB SATA internal hard drive to upgrade my desktop's 320GB, and a set of 2GB RAM to upgrade my machine from 3GB to 6GB :)

Oi. Round-trip tickets for a July flight to L.A., round-trip airport shuttle tickets, a group therapy retreat package, and...this (not photos of mine--it hasn't arrived yet.):

So my credit card has been hit pretty hard, but at least one of the items is fun. :techman:

I got a bunch of stuff from the Playstation store today:
- Burnout Paradise (already had the EU version of the game which I'm getting rid of, I wanted the US one for the DLC) - $20
- Burnout Paradise - Big Surf Island DLC - $13
- Burnout Paradise - Cops & Robbers DLC - $10
- Bomberman Ultra - $10

Not taking that to the therapy retreat are you?. I like it.

My next purchase will be cinema tickets to see Red Cliff

I'm intensely curious, yet afraid to ask...
Haha, don't worry- nothing bad. The Dorms I'm working in get used as sort of a hotel for conferences during the summer. In an effort to save money, our bosses are only ordering the bare minimum linens to get the job done each week. Well, our first conference made some last second additions to their roster, and we didn't have enough linens to make up the extra rooms. Not too big of a deal because the linen company was supposed to drop off an extra load a few hours before the conference arrived. The linen company did come and go, but we discovered after they were gone that they switched our washcloths, handtowels, and pillow covers for some aprons and napkins from a local restaraunt. Because of this, I had to run out and get loaded up on linens and shower curtain rings (for some of the needed rooms as well) before the folks arrived.
