So I went to Old Navy during lunch and picked up some essentials.

Got this guy in blue. Goes with my eyes. Then I got a couple of plain white button down shirts. And a white cardigan for layering.

A new 19" monitor, a new printer, and a new mp3 player all from Circuit City. I wanted to wait for the real good discounts, but no one seems to understand the concept of waiting for the big discounts, so I got my need-to-have stuff while it was still there. I got a couple optional things I will probably cash in on a week or two from now.

They're really cute, hot pink, bright yellow and there's like a black flowered one. The trench coats are cute, but I can't wear double breasted coats (adds too much bulk to my top, and God knows I don't need enough bulk up there. )

I went by TJMaxx tonight to find a nice dress that would work for going out and for work. I found a great Jones New York one. And I also found a red cardigan set to replace the one that I've worn to pieces.

I got me a three months Live XboX subscription and 2100 XboX points (credits, bucks, Yens, whatever they're called). I immediately proceeded to download the Fable 2 Knothole Island expansion and the Mass Effect Bring Down the Sky expansion. Can't wait to play.

I bought a Panasonic FX37. I'm glad it's got Intelligent Auto as I'm a complete noob and have no idea what 90% of these settings actually do.

Picked up some pairs of trousers I had left with the tailors a few weeks back and forgot to collect until now. Of course, that meant I had to pay for the alterations I had done on them!

They are nice though - a dark grey glen plaid, a dark brown velvet and a cream wool. Also, I had a fitting for a suit I've been having made. A few little adjustments and it should be ready for collection in a week or so. Very natty it is too.

What else?

Oh, well I got a pink/blue dots tie & a red/white/blue pocket square.

And some inevitable groceries too.

One brave soul, fighting an unwinnable war against recession...
