I found the band arrangement of Acrostic Song from The Final Alice by David del Tredici in the bargain bin from one of the music stores at the convention. A fine piece of newer band music-- 70% off. The tax payers ponied up so my school's band library could own it.

I also bought three music posters. One to amuse my tubas, one to hang in my office, and one for my daughter.

I plan to splurge on some books for myself tomorrow.

Just pre-ordered some 3rd cut Timothy hay for my girl, Tulip (guinea pig). That girl is really in the hay! She has 2nd cut Timothy, orchard grass, bluegrass, botanical. I mix them up and she chows down.

Today being Friday, I bought groceries, two sweatsuits, and two thermal undershirts.

Some one has broken in to my geek room! I have nearly the same setup with two exceptions, the monitor stand and the desk. I see we have the same tastes in speakers as well. Looks great!

To my surprise, I spent most of the afternoon today shopping. I purchased:

--a copy of Dead Space for PC, after trading in a bunch of old XBox and Ps2 games;

--some incense (vanilla and cedar) and an incense holder;

--some new clothes--two pairs of casual trousers, two mock-neck tops, and a tie chain--using some gift certificates I received for being a frequent buyer;

--a new liner for my shower curtain;

--groceries and cleaning supplies;

--and two packets of Backwoods cigars--sold at fine convenience stores everywhere.
