Well, I work from home and at my company, you are on the phone all day. If I did all of my business calling from a cell, it would be seriously expensive.

Not to mention the fact that if I gave all of my business contacts at IBM my cell phone number, I could forget about ever going on a REAL vacation ever again.

My knees have NOT been happy campers this week. Let me tell you.

How hard have you pushed yourself and what surfaces have you been running on? It's entirely possible that your knees ache because you've just started.

My eyes are not happy campers after seeing the colour scheme on those shoes.

I just bought a Shark™ Cordless Sweeper, and it is fantastic!

We have a sweet, loving black lab mix who also happens to shed...everywhere. Long, black hairs all over the floor, the bed, the kitchen counter, in the car, in my wallet (I don't know how, but yes, in my wallet). Well, I bought the sweeper because it swore up and down that it would pick up pet hair.

It does. Not only on the floor, but on couches, chairs, beds and tile floors also. It's terrific, charges in only a couple of hours and picks up everything in sight. I had to clean out the dust cup 4 times for my room alone, but I'm not sneezing any more.

I think you're right. I ran Tuesday on a treadmill, and that's when the pain started. Then on the trail Wed morning during class, trying to do Fartleks just about killed me.

So I figured I'd check when I'd bought the shoes, which was back in May, almost 3 months ago. So they definately needed changing.

As for the surface, I've decided to just run on the trail for a few weeks and cut out the treadmill in case that's the problem.

And if it's weak quads, I'm going to do some weight training to get them stronger. In the meanwhile, I'm just running two days a week and the rest of the week is in the pool so the stress on the joints isn't as bad.

Yep. It works beautifully.
With the dog hair you have to clear out the little dust cup often, but it's a gem to use.

OOO, Kimc..take you an antacid! I made a car payment, credit card payment, and just purchased one of my favorite drinks: Big Red! I didn't know they had them in a bottle..didn't even think they had it in my area. I hadn't had it since I went to visit my cousins in San Antonio, TX! So had that with lunch. Its pretty tasty!

I bought my hubby a "Grimjack" adventures graphic novel and a DVD of Equilibrium for his upcoming birthday.

He's very hard to shop for. When I say "What do you want for your birthday," he just mutters "Nothing." He gets very irritated if I spend too much, so I figured this was both cheap, and something I know he'll like.

If not, he can send it back to Amazon!
