Groceries, a tank topper for Michael's tank (which he is now enjoying), a 'Phantom' book and some Trek books from Amazon. I came across quite a few titles I wanted. :D

There she is:

How about that, Flux Capacitor? ;)

^ Holdy drives an S4.
Nice ride, I'm really liking the Audis.

Yeah they're nice cars and the S4 is LOTS of fun.

But just do your research - for instance, I knew when buying it that the S4 has some little model quirks. Selecting 1st can sometimes be tricky in cold weather and the radiator is prone to getting damaged by stone chips. I don't mind occasional repairs when I know they're possible given the model.

I'll probably trade in the S4 soon. Not entirely sure what to get next. The RS4 is tempting, but I might see switch to a different manufacturer next time. Will have to look around the market.

^ If you don't need a second pair of doors you could go with the S5. Though you've mentioned before you wanted something that doesn't really stand out all that much (and the S5 is definitely very flashy). ;)

I like having 4 doors. I never thought it would matter to me, but I've found the extra pair of doors is surprisingly useful when giving people lifts and so on so I don't think I'll be doing back to my 2-door days sadly.

The S5 is very pretty though.

^ I agree four doors are better than two.

My latest purchase is an unplanned dinner out after coming home to find a storm had caused the electricity to go out and golf ball-sized hail had put holes in my brand new siding.

Such is life I guess!

It is pretty isn't it? ;) I drove it a while back and it's just such a damn nice car. The interior honestly feels like you're in a car twice the price and it handles pretty good as well.

But yeah, I can understand the need for four doors. I only have two on my current car and I do miss the second pair sometimes. But then if it's sunny and warm, I just put the top down and stop caring. :D

New to the thread so here goes, this is Wednesday's purchases since I haven't bought anything (aside from pizza for dinner last night):

-Ultimate New X-Men Grant Morrison Collection Volume One
-Fray Future Slayer TPB
-World War Hulk TPB
-The Incredible Hulk Movie Novelization
-Wizard #200 Gold Edition
-Wizard #201 Summer Preview

Yikes!

Sorry to hear that!

Yeah, yeah, rub it in some more.... :p

I could do that, but I'm a nice guy so I won't. ;)

Oh yeah, in case you care (and haven't heard about it yet), the new S4 is supposed to be a 3.0 turbo engine (most likely bi-turbo). So if you want a V8 under your hood, the new S4 might not be the car for you.
