A bio-filter for my garbage disposal
The Cliffnotes study guide from the Florida Teachers Certification Professional Educators test
a new suit

(hmm... interesting combo)

Made a Home Depot run today--we picked up air filters, light bulbs, wood filler, some door knobs (to change out the crappy ass brass ones the builders put in), and then hit the grocery stuff.

Exciting, tis married life in the 'burbs.

The 1975, 2004, 2007 and 2008 World Series on DVD.

My collection is now complete. :techman:

(well, I don't have every series that ever was played, just the 13 of them that have been released on DVD)

I got most of my World Serieses for cheap as well. Usually about 30 bucks each! That's quite a deal for an entire World Series on DVD. (and they weren't used either)

LG Electronics 8X External Blu-ray ReWrite Drive BE08LU20 BLACK/RETAIL (Black)

One of the first things I'm going to do with it is take an entire season of a TV show and burn it to a single disc just for laughs.

OK now I've got two projects for this thing:

1) Fix the letterboxing on House S1 so that it's actually anamorphic instead of the horrid transfer it actually got. I'll lose some detail, but at least I won't need to pull out the magnifying glass to watch the episodes

2) Find a list of the top 100 Simpsons episodes from an online poll somewhere and burn them to a single BD-R. With H264 compression they'd probably fit. I find I don't watch my season sets all that much because I can't remember where certain episodes are!

Another magnetic key lock for all the aspirin, vitamins and medicine, as per our adoption worker.

Also picked up some baskets, as it will all have to go under sink and be locked away.

Don't post in here as often as I should but purchases made since last post are:

-Eye Glasses (my first ever pair!)
-Kick-Ass Book One Hardcover
-Athalon Sports 2010 Baseball Preview Magazine
-Bus Day Pass
-A Pack of Trident Strawberry Gum
-Extra Strength Tyelenol
-Various Groceries and foodstuffs

A treadmill. Prepare to be dazzled!

Here's hoping it doesn't turn into an expensive clothes hanger. ;)

I did some "retail therapy" with a friend last Saturday - we got our hair done, had brunch, browsed a bookstore and she found the wooden Mexican milk frother she'd been after. I'm looking forward to some hot chocolate in the future. :)

I bought the Doctor Who Christmas Special boxset, mostly because I felt like watching "The End of Time." I will probably end up giving the set to my sister.
