You have too much spare time. :p
Nah, I'm just that good.

Actually, I have been relaxing my work hours now that I've finished my Ph.D. and my advisor has no specific hold over me. ;)

Some car purchases today: spark plugs and new battery, the latter of which I installed in my parking lot.

Just finished this little prop replica kit. Resin body and handle with machined aluminum and brass parts, all cast or measured from a screen-used original from "The Cage." I designed and added the electronics.

It's things like this that make me long for either time (so I could do it myself) or money (to pay someone to do it for me). She is just gorgeous. I also want a late generation 24th Century Tricorder prop, a Phaser Rifle from First Contact, Dr. Bashir's med kit and Dr. McCoy's thigh med kit too. Don't want much do I? :rommie:

As for my purchases, I picked up more popsicles and Orville Redenbacher's Salt & Cracked Pepper Popcorn. I love that popcorn!

I got myself a haircut and new glasses. I can pick the glasses up next week. :)
Apparently my eyesight has deteriorated somewhat since the last time I saw an optician. :(

Moonlight on DVD, an eco-friendly stainless steel water bottle, two purple-y graphic tees from Old Navy, The Tudors season three novelizaton, and some Panda licorice :D

Today I bought one of those milk froth makers. What are they called?

My old one died yesterday and I simply cannot be without my regular latte macchiato fix. :D

Shoes, three pairs: Two (2) pairs of black flats, one fairly sensible, the other as frivolous and all-out girly as a flat can possibly be; one (1) extremely frivolous and non-sensible pair of high-heeled pumps, black patent and gray.

I went into the store looking for just one pair of black flats, by the way. But as we shoe junkies always say, life's short - buy the shoes.

Tim's phaser is coooollll...

Short Life, Long Shoes?

I like the sounds of the frivolous heels...

^ They are gorgeous, I must say - and yes, they thoroughly deserve that little devilish smiley, Holdfast. I have a tendency to scratch up patent though - I've had patent shoes end up looking like I went walking on a gravel road in them or gave them to a wolverine or something. But I fell for them in a big, big way, so we'll see how it goes.
