I bought one of these little Garden Hoppers, so I can work in the garden without hurting my back so much.

Green and mint tea
Cardamon tea
Beef and lamb salami
One fresh guava
Guava juice
Pick & mix sweets
Black eyeliner

I went to Edgeware road. :D

^ Which one?

Not certain yet. Probably something from Panasonic simply because I've found them to be the most reliable when it comes to automatically making aspect ratio changes. This is for the living room and if I don't get one that does that properly then I will be seeing a lot of stretchy vision because nobody else will bother doing it manually.

I'm a bit of a TV expert, Seeing as how I ran an Electronics Dept. for a while. If you let me know Price ranger, what your using it for and features you want I can give you some good recommendations.

My wife and her friend are hitting Goodwill and other thrift stores this afternoon. I'm sure I'm buying something even as I post this.

I just bought a bunch of mp3 downloads from amazon- all disco. I'm having flashbacks to my childhood this weekend.

At least you Yankers fans are consistent. :p

Oh, don't tell me that BoSox fans don't do that as well. I've *seen* it. I was at Fenway last year, in fact, and as I was leaving the park and trying to get into the T station, I saw a whole row of street vendors hawking anti-Yankees and anti-NY shirts. So if we're consistent, then so are you! :p

(And you gotta admit, we can rag on our own people as well. Didn't you notice this A-Rod shirt? Or even this one? Go look at that, and then find me a Sox fan who'd do that to one of their own, even if they deserved it. :p )

Well, you were on either Yawkey Way or Lansdowne Street, though. ;)

That shirt's funny. I'm sure plenty of Sox fans have senses of humor.

And...?

(FWIW, I did order this shirt by mail. I don't remember seeing shirts like that actually on sale in New York proper, although they might well be. But so what? It's the most heated rivalry in sports. Both sides firing away. War is hell!)

(I do remember two things about that trip: 1) The Cask & Flagon had awesome food, and 2) The crowd around the Kenmore T station was the worst I'd ever been in, in my entire life. And no, I was not wearing any New York- or Yankee-related gear at the time.)

Like I said, show me one Sox fan who'd wear a shirt that ragged on a member of his own team like that, and then we'll talk. ;)

I got the Dualshock 3 controller and Tomb Raider: Underworld for my PS3 today.

Here's the kicker, if I got both items at one of the local stores I'd have to pay somewhere betwen €120 and €130. Well, I got them from an online store in the UK and I paid €55 for both items (including shipping). ;)

I got a new haircut, inspired by Shirley MacLaine in The Apartment, pre-mod bob, (which I posted in the pic thread too). It is so liberating to have such short hair, I love it! Totally worth $70!

Also bought a new denim jacket and new candy apple red wedges!

^Aw, that's a great style!

Tomorrow, I'm going to buy Doubt on DVD, and candy for an Easter basket. Dove Truffle Eggs.

^Thanks! It's kind of drastic for me -- even though I've always had a bob, it's never been that short -- so it's taking some people by surprise. I love it, though!

I also bought this pearl necklace from Blue Nile, I can't wait till it arrives!:

I adore pearls -- my favorite jewelry. My mom is leaving me her mother's pearl necklace, an ancient thing that must be worth a fair few thousands, but I'll have to wait for that. As I'm hoping my mother lives to a ripe old age, I thought I'd alleviate some of the pain of waiting with some freshwater pearls that are actually affordable ($100). Plus, I have freshwater pearl earrings in several natural colors that will all work perfectly with this.

^ I'm with you on the pearls. :)

Today I got to spend $93 to have some guys come over and clean out my pipes. That's pipes in the house but go ahead and insert obvious jokes here...
