Your Holiday Wish List

Well, after all the high horse stuff like World Peace and a single-payer health care system in the US, a cure for juvenile diabetes and for my mom's health problems to resolve, my wishes are, in this order:

1. To be able to afford the flight home.
2. For my sister to set her narcissism aside and not make everyone feel like shit.
3. To be able to afford gifts for my friends and loved ones.
4. A proper easel.

I just want a contractor who will repair everything in my house without bankrupting me. That would be the awesomest Christmas gift ever.

My parents asked me for a list (I don't NEED or really want anything) however thus far I have
1. First Cylon War print from QMx
2. Talbots gift card
3. cheap earrings
4. Ipod/Iphone alarm clock

I can't think of anything else...
I need a coat but that's something I need to get myself. I'm obsessed with nuBSG/Caprica but I don't want to be THAT person (who ubergeeks out and owns everything for fraks sake)
I'd like an Apple TV but I'm getting that for my parents...

Motorokr T505 Bluetooth Speakerphone with FM transmitter

New queen sized comforter/shams/bedskirt

Charlie Brown Christmas Special DVD

DeForest Kelley DVDs I think would be sufficient - as long as I can find them on Region 2!

My list for this year will be small with a couple of pricey items. My birthday is on the 28th of December so this list counts as my birthday list as well.

-Limited Edition Inception Blu-Ray Set
-Doctor Who The Complete Series Five
-Sherlock The Complete First Series
-Superman The Last Stand of New Krypton Volume One
-The Jedi's Path: Manual for Students of the Force by Dan Wallace
-Superman Secret Origin Hardcover
-Batman Beyond The Complete Series

I guess I'll have to cross out Samsung Galaxy Tab. That shit is more expensive than an I-Pad!

I'd just be as excited to pick up the new Avatar Special Extended Edition BD.

One other thing I would like to accomplish to be able to borrow from my 401K before my bank account runs dry.

My impish nature requires that I suggest that you add this to your Christmas Wish List too. :D

 Thank you, Suze Orman. :p

A pleasure, as always.

I think I need to delegate the list-making process to someone else as clearly I'm too lazy to come up with one myself. Anyone want the job of coming up with a list for me? :D

-New keyboard for my desptop computer
-Mac Pro laptop :)
-new photoshop software (I detest abode)
-new oxford shirts
-smaller compact digital camera
-new battery for the car
-be able to surprise the future Mrs. Finn with a double decker tour around the city (We didn't finish the thing during our first weekend together).

I don't NEED anything...

Yeah, same here really. I can't come up with a specific list: it would either have zero items or a million, depending on whether I listed random little luxury wants or not. None of them are really more wanted than any other, to be honest; they're all conceptually filed under "fun little treats" in my mind. :)

Christmas presents should not be what you need but what is a "fun little treat" exactly!
Especially for friends. I ordered 2 pairs of suede gloves for girlfriends on Ebay last night, colour choice, pink, baby blue or black. Changed my mind this morning to silly colours instead of black, logged on to find an email saying she'd already sent the boring colours. This is Ebay, it's not suppose to be that efficient!

^That's what I do with my Amazon wishlist. I just stick things on there that I'd like to have but haven't bothered getting, or things I'd really like to have but can't justify the expense. I'm always adding or deleting things from the list and whenever someone asks what I want, I send them to the list. It's also a good way to remind myself where to find that particular item I plan to buy later.

Son has done that with Ebay. Gone through and left ideas for me. Much easier.

Ok ~ I like Ebay! Man will put money into my paypal account for my Christmas pressie. Half the fun is the finding and bidding ~ the other half is knowing that you don't have to fake a smile when opening a pressie ;)

Macbook Pro 13"
Alien Anthology (with Full HD TV, 5.1 speaker system and Blu-Ray player)

Not much else. Happier times. More sleep.
