Your "good deeds" of the day...

When I was at the grocery store earlier I took some stray shopping carts and took them with mine to the cart thingy.

I like the shopping trolleys thing - a good opportunity to brighten up one's day. Sometimes I give my used shopping trolley to customers coming into the supermarket, or take a trolley off a departing customer upon entering, saving them a trip to the trolley parking bays. (I had once considered doing a similar thing with trolleys that require a returnable pound coin to release them from the chain of padlocks, almost not realising that I would end up being a pound up on the deal. :p On second thoughts, I would have done just that then merely given the departing customer a pound.)

Although I'm not a big one to draw attention to my goodness, this is pretty anonymous, so I'll share...

On our music trip last week, a student didn't have money with him to buy lunch one day. He'll never remember to pay me back, but he had a very nice meal.

We had Relay For Life fundraisers this week at school. For $5 each, you could "dress down" Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. For another $5, you got Subway lunch on Wednesday. I paid $20, didn't dress down, but I did enjoy my sandwich.

I covered a co-worker's study hall. She promised to pay me back. She'll forget unless I remind her. I won't be reminding her.

Today was a quiet day, but I have succeeded in doing a deed of sorts on Facebook tonight. I hope that the parties involved appreciated it.

Although I was awoken by my workmate on the phone to ask a stupid question of 'if she could use olive oil instead of vegetable oil' when it clearly states in the diary ~ do not ring K'Eh before 10am! I made a special trip to the shop on my way in to purchase vegetable oil only to arrive to find it had been delivered anyway. So I claim 2 good deeds ~ purchasing said oil, and not pouring it all over her when I realised it was a wild goose chase and I'd missed a valued hours sleep! I am good

fed my neighbours cat past couple of days when my neighbour had forgotten to unlock her cat flap. She called me up asking if I would boot the flap in but told her puss will be fed and has a nice warm blanket and box in the shed for it.

I got some strawberries and will bake a cake later. This will make boyfriend happy and my sister, who will get a chunk of it.
