Good lord, ever?
My main issue is that the shows that have produced my favourite hours of TV ever have degraded somewhat as they went along - Stargate SG-1, ER, Buffy and Battlestar Galactica (Noughties version) would be the most obvious examples of this.
Firefly didn't have a chance to degrade so is up there almost by default; DS9 and Angel are the lovely exceptions to the rule in that they got better as they went along.
If I had to pick just one, it would probably have to be Stargate SG-1, with the caveat that I mean the first 6 seasons or so, not the dross with the cast of Farscape. I love mythology in my shows, I'm a dreamer - and the mythology of the Goa'uld, the Ancients, and the four race alliance just hooked me completely. I just pretend they didn't cock it all up later when we actually met the Ancients. The Fifth Race remains one of my favourite episodes of television ever.

Lost is probably my favorite show beginning to end. I loved it when it was action adventure in the first three seasons, I loved it when it was science fiction in Seasons 4 and 5 and I loved it when it was fantasy is season 6. Generally I liked every single main character and what's more I cared about all of their fates, which I can rarely say for a show.
DS9 is the show that got me into Star Trek again after a long drought since High School and it got me through a really dark time last year. So, I'm pretty bias towards it.
Buffy will always be special to me and while parts of it are extremely flawed, I can generally forgive the flaws (before season seven). I can honestly say that above any show, this one has changed my life. But I'll get more into that when I do a rewatch thread this summer (after I finish my X-Files thread).
And I think that once I finish I will look back on The X-Files and be able to call that one of my favorite shows. Fox Mulder is already my favorite character in all of fiction, but I want to see how the show wraps up before I make the call.

Well my top 3 are Xena Warrior Princess, new BSG and NCIS.
Two shows come to mind. Deep Space Nine and Farscape. Love both shows.
